Ghosts vs Unstimmed Marines is actually such a LOL moment to watch. They outrange the Marines, do more damage (don't shoot as fast but can actually kite marines because of their range), and have more heatlh. Snipe lets you 1 shot marines I believe. Its just extremely hard to get large numbers of them and they are fragile if they aren't backed up by a bunch of medvacs and some other units. I think it would be cool to see a style of Terran, where in the late stages of the game thats all Terran is making. Maruaders, Ghosts, maybe Mech, and Medvacs. Mostly Ghosts. I wonder if it would work well to get Ravens and Ghosts, since the Ravens are so high on gas and Ghosts are now only 100 gas.

And then he talks for like 20 minutes about that one choice. Then he unpauses the game and it turns out that Huk builds a gateway instead of a pylon and Day9's like "But that's not actually what he decided to do." And it turns out that you just listened to 20 minutes of informed theorycraft that had nothing to do with the actual game he's teaching from.

The Funday Monday theme is to play Brood War. He wants to see some high-level SC2 players go back to playing Broodwar for some hilarity. It should be pretty awesome! :-)

Yea and make sure you put up all of the restrictions. NO multi building NO control group >12 etc etc. Should be a pretty funny daily.

Yup, I was wrong. I had only caught the end of him saying the Brood War part and didn't catch the SC2 edit part. Sorry for any confusion. Should still be awesome!

Does anyone know what happened to http://day9fan.com/?  I really liked the detailed show notes/summaries so i could just quickly look over them for little tips and tricks and stuff to think about rather than watch the entire daily.

well, in your example day9 explained in detail the 2 choices Huk had at this point and inspired the audience (or at least me  ) to think about this small little arrangements one can do. (if it matters skillwise)

There was one a while ago on xel naga where he was talkign abotu someone banshee harass and how he was being really clever to force the observers over the prtoss base around ... now he knows he can only have 2 observers .... howver all the time there was a third observer over the main which is why the other 2 wernt going there. Abotu 2.3 of the way through you see him quickly select the obs adn then continue (i imagine swearign under breath)
