I have like a ten second lag between what i'm actually doing and what the stream is displaying. Any reasons why? I have an upload of 5 megs and have my vrate at 3k. Didn't happen when using xsplit.

Yeah, ffsplit has a pretty major issue right now that it has a huge delay which gets bigger and bigger if your bitrate is too high, even if you have the sufficient upload for said bitrate, hopefully they fix that..

Just tried streaming at 1000 bitrate, and it still just shuts down randomly at 6 minutes, when i stream for at least 20, has anyone actually had success with this program?

Yes, I do and works well. Use their Video source, not some other one and it won't shut down almost at all (rarely happens), usually just once then goes smoothly next 3-4 hours, so yo should check sometimes the console.

I updated the guide abit but Im not able to do much atm as my desktop is messed up and the laptop im on is pretty bad and cuts off randomly (HP DV9000.... -__-).

When I get a new mobo for my desktop, I will do a complete reqwrite of the guide as it is not required to use an external video source at all (I found that out just before my mobo messed up :/) nor do you have to use an external audio source. The FFsplit Overlay video source is alot more stable then using Dxtory or VHscrcap in my honest opinion. It will be done in 3-4 days.

I really like this programm.
Get such a high quality picture, but I've ran in some trouble.
I cant seem to get Audio and video synced. Audio just comes a little ahead.
And yea it sometimes randomly stops streaming.

Has audio sync question been asked somewhere?

I couldn't get it to work at all with their capture source. I had to download vhscrcap just to get the stream to show up. Also lagged my computer more than xsplit while playing bf3.

That used to happen to me, but it somehow fixed itself. I think you need to have fps and set to the same on both your video recorder as well as FFsplit. Also try a different resolution and get back. Idk, I messed with a it a long time to fix it, but also try restarting your computer o.o

Ok I did a test with FFsplit Overlay 1.5 as the Video Source. You can compare it to my other video, using VHScrcap as source.

IMO, I feel that FFsplit overlay 1.5 kind of pixellates more for those with low upload bandwidth. Could someone with high upload (3-5k kbps) test it and post stream?

The last time i streamed with this i had little issues, except towards the end it started to get choppier and choppier for the last five or so minutes, before crashing finally and rebooting itself. Anyone know the issue here? Twitch.tv will cut the video off and then remake it in a separate smaller VOD, which really annoys me considering the VOD's should be one nice package. I can post settings if needed, so let me know.

You might want to try with FFsplit overlay 1.8, as that is the most recent version. I have no idea what the differences are from a programming standpoint, however, so it may make no difference. Also, in the overlay manager there is the little drop down box that lets you adjust the quality of the capture, which may have something to do with pixelation.
