Suggestion for a new feature:
Shadowed if you have time in the future I would suggest storing old account names and showing them in sc2ranks profiles. Identity hiding is becoming more popular in all servers encouraged by the Koreans. More and more names such as 'llllllll' can be seen in ladder. For example at the moment there are ~45 'llllllll'-named players in Korean gm (~ one fourth of all Kr gm players). If sc2ranks would show the old nicks too, we would have better grasp who is who.
As an example European grandmaster:

Also there is some problem regarding profile updates in sc2ranks. User forced updates do not work (either by clicking 'update profile' or accessing profile that has not been updated for over week --> profiles remain "Profile being refreshed..."). League information is still updated to profiles when scheduled division updates happen (frequently in gm, much more seldom in lower leagues). This problem started couple days ago either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

They want to remain hidden for a reason.

I'll think about adding peoples old names, I already track the data and have since the start. Whether or not I want to show it I'm undecided on.

Please do not show it.
You would be forcing good players to buy yet another account just for the sake of being anonymous.

Most of top level sponsored players already have several accounts and do not use their actual nicks on all accounts. Also several tournament custom maps already hide the build orders in match histories.
In EU & NA servers most of people who seem to use 'lllllll' -type of names to hide their identity are not top level players. Some of them seem to have other reasons to hide their identity. For example after I had given the example profile in my earlier post I checked his match history. Couple of weeks ago that account won almost 100% its matches by playing terran. After that only protoss has been played on the account and most of the matches have been lost. Last season that account was a high diamond, season earlier low to mid master and before that gold. Most likely some other person boosted that account into gm and now the actual owner is having a hard time. Also the person who openly map hacked on his Twitch stream one week ago hid his personality by using 'lllllll' -type of name (he renamed his account with more recognizable name after his public hacking session was done. Anyone else having trouble using the site at times?
I can't click on search (or any other of the tabs for that matter) sometimes. Tried using a different browser (I'm on the latest FF) and sometimes that does the trick. Sometimes it doeesn't.
I have adblock disabled for sc2ranks.

I'm having the same problem , many buttons on the site are unclickable for me :/

Try replacing "www.sc2ranks.com" by "app02.sc2ranks.com". It works for me.
Whenever I have a problem with the website, I try app02.sc2ranks.com and app03.sc2ranks.com and generally one of the two solves the problem.

scranks keeps telling me: XXX has not played any league games yet, or has not finished their placement matches.
but all people are in my devision and have played games actually.
my status is not updating neither
what have i missed?

Shadowed: Divisions stopped updating on 2012-06-22. After that also profiles have stopped to update (if you manually update one, it quickly 'updates' it, but the win-lose-point stats do not update).
Edit: Now on 2012-06-25 sc2ranks divisions & profiles can be updated once again and everything seems working.

Looks fine to me. Updates aren't going to be instant if queue is backlogged.
