metagame this, metagame that, cheese this, cheese that. why can't we/i just play the game one way or the other, however i want to play it, unorthodox or not without being told that i'm playing the game wrong?

Well, to be honest, you could turn that argument around: when it comes to gaming, you guys and SC2 are the worst things that has ever happened to us. I don't want to talk about that a lot because it's not constructive, but it is nevertheless true and if you kept that in mind, you would maybe have more patience with guys like Noobskill.

You think I'm totally 100% against SC2. I play the game almost every day. I have bought every season of the GSL. I'm not shitting on the game because as far as my opinion goes it is the 2nd best RTS of all time which with how many RTS are out there means it is pretty damn good. 3/4 AOE/WC3. My point isn't to "shit" on SC2, buy to "shit" on Blizzard. They never planned on making a great interesting game from day one, but instead planned on WoL + 2 expansions. Maybe the game will be complete in LoTV, but I think that originally making a really solid game would have been better than paying BW pros to claim that their most recent expansion is awesome.

The thing is, there was no reason what so ever to mention it like that. What you did was exactly "shit"on SC2.

You still think it is on SC2. Though yes, it was a trollish remark which is why I almost deleted it and probably should have seeing how butthurt people are. I'm not saying SC2 is bad, but they had BW to build off of and choose not to. They could have made a better game, but this one is now getting really good especially with GSL. But even with the GSL getting better now we throw in a new expansion (because Blizzard didn't want to make a complete game the first time) and the general pro play will revert (a bit not fully). Though I do see much potential with this new game in making pro matches in a very short time be much better than WOL GSL. I just think it should have been even still better than this to start with, because they had such a good base.

That being said I don't want to derail the thread any further. I think the commercial does seem kinda cheesey no? I watch JD stream from time to time and when you used to see Flash it was all serious business, but the production changed their personalities to make it seem like SC2 brings eternal happiness or something. Just seems funny to me. I think they could have gone with a more look at these badasses playing SC2, you can be a badass too model and the commercial would have seemed more normal in regards to the players who are promoting the product.

Everyone hating on the video (or making fun of it) because Blizzard made Jaedong, Flash, and Nada pretend to be excited - I'm actually glad they chose them.

It shows Jaedong, Flash, and Nada know how to do commercials, which is very important for marketing.

(Remember Inside The Game's talk on how Koreans aren't very marketable? Stuff like this helps Koreans be more marketable, of course too bad the video was done without subs and for Korea mainly and not anywhere else. .)

Well this is a good way to do it (though IMO, they should also do an official subbed version for English viewers too).

Well he's in a teamhouse. So I would assume most of the nearby players HotS finds are other people in the house.
