SC2 in itself just does not cater to what Koreans want/are used to. Pretty great video though. It is pretty funny/weird to see the three be so enthusiastic. Decent acting. haha >_< Well, with all your insight on the Korean market, you should make a ton of money there. I wonder why game companies are not fighting over your skills and knowledge.

I am hoping when we get an English translation that we find out they made an "unimpressed Flash is really impressed" joke about the new UI

Decent acting. haha >_< The game itself has a lot less to do with SC2's popularity vs the ways you can get a hold of it. The 'Asian' (generalizing) markets typically lend themselves to anything that is easily pirated or free to play. A part of BW's success in Korea was the relative ease people could get free copies of the game and play it. As far as the video goes it would be nice to see a translated version even if there isn't much information there that you couldn't already see in the starcraft youtube channel previews.

I wonder why game companies are not fighting over your skills and knowledge. I was actually just stating something very obvious and general... I mean this in a neutral way but if SC2 is not popular in Korea, it has very little to do with exposure, since everyone should already know about it due to the huge success of BW. There are many reasons why SC2 is not that popular in Korea, just as why there are many reasons why SC2 is more popular in the foreign community. That was really all I was stating. If you want my actual thoughts on the matter (which you probably don't but I'll just put it here to complete this post), I very much see an analogy between Starcraft and baseball. SC2 is like American baseball with its flashy "terrible, terrible damage" (homeruns), while BW is like Japanese/Asian baseball with smaller fights and minute mechanics (smallball). It can sort of be likened to DotA playstyles (Foreign versus Chinese), as well. In the end, it is just different. And the fact that more money can be made in the foreign market.

He loves to point out that SC2 is "inferior" and make crap up about Blizzard dumping money in their direction(Im sure somone got paid, but massive cash is unlikely). Its all part of the endless downer that BW fans on TL bring to SC2. Best thing that happened to SC2: TL and the its starcraft . Worst thing that happened to SC2: TL and its BW fans.
