Well, to be honest, you could turn that argument around: when it comes to gaming, you guys and SC2 are the worst things that has ever happened to us. I don't want to talk about that a lot because it's not constructive, but it is nevertheless true and if you kept that in mind, you would maybe have more patience with guys like Noobskill.

You think I'm totally 100% against SC2. I play the game almost every day. I have bought every season of the GSL. I'm not shitting on the game because as far as my opinion goes it is the 2nd best RTS of all time which with how many RTS are out there means it is pretty damn good. 3/4 AOE/WC3. My point isn't to "shit" on SC2, buy to "shit" on Blizzard. They never planned on making a great interesting game from day one, but instead planned on WoL + 2 expansions. Maybe the game will be complete in LoTV, but I think that originally making a really solid game would have been better than paying BW pros to claim that their most recent expansion is awesome.

To all those people criticizing the "Brood war elitists": In a couple of years Blizzard will probably release Starcraft III and we will be in their spot with Blizzard/KeSPA/whoever killing Starcraft II in favor of its successor. Think about that before you get all mad. I never watched BW and I never will but I understand how pissed off BW fans had been when BW died.

When the large majority of the pre-SC2 users/followers/lurkers of TL (except maybe the staff, understandably) is saying that BW was simply better, shouldn't this at least ring some bells inside the heads of post-SC2 newcomers??
Older gamers are the ones who played and experienced both games and pro-scenes, and you know, maybe they are not getting paid to say so and it perhaps is the truth?
I cant even imagine how hard it must be for BW pros (somewhat forced) to switch to a completely new and different game after years of crazy investment, especially for those like JD and Flash here...
It outright killed the careers of high caliber players like Sea.
