This isn't about if he is a good pro currently, but the fame he once had, which is why Blizzard paid him a fuck ton for this . Good move to get the idols of SCBW to endorse an inferior product... Yeah, this line was so useful and we absolutely needed that. Thanks.

Reddit has it that the AI sucks at performing the 4 gate and can't even do an immortal sentry all-in (as in it was never coded in at all, not in that it sucks at doing it). Now I got to watch this.

There is NaDa carreer and there is Flash's career. How can you tell whose career was superior? Flash achieved Bonjwahood whene Brood War was at its peak. It's really hard to compare - like Roger Federer versus Rod Laver in tennis careers.

It used to be Jaedong during his whole career. Now that he is on EG and he is really bad, I don't know. It is noteworthy that among the TBLS, Flash often had a little bit less fans than the other three, even when he was dominating. Jeadong is far from being "really bad" but that's the internet opinions for ya. And i think him being on EG makes him even more populair. Fans of his Broodwar career will mostly keep rooting for him no matter what team he joins + now he get's EG fans added to that atleast + more exposure. OT: Cute though way over the top, that does make it look rather funny. I love Jaedong, he is one of my most important role models. I think I have seen more or less every televised game he has ever played. But what he does now is just... bad. Really, really bad. His gaming in SC2 thus far doesn't come close to the talent he showed when he was new to brood war.
I think that the foreign audience he will get by joining EG is nothing compared to the korean fans he had when he played on national television for Lecaf/ Hwaseung OZ.

good marketing towards koreans

How so? Flash is equal in titles (more if you count his Gom win), has more wins in less time played and a significantly higher win percentage.

Good to see more things like this in hopes of more SC2 promotion in Korea, but sadly it will not fix anything if the game itself is broken. SC2 in itself just does not cater to what Koreans want/are used to.
Pretty great video though. It is pretty funny/weird to see the three be so enthusiastic. Decent acting. haha >_<

I honestly doubt anyone will be drawn to play SC2 just because of these changes. Those players are long gone already

To watch Flash do such things with his face, is disgusting TT
EDIT: i mean cute stuff and overreacting, thats not something for a true champion to be doing.

On the other hand NaDa had more 2nd places than Flash (4 compare to 2) . On the other hand again NaDa was able to seize 3 MLSs within few months and had whole career to focus on Brood War while Flash had to switch to SC2 pretty much during his peak. I don't think it's fair to count GOM leagues - after all NaDa won a number of different tournaments.

so sad that blizzard has to use these BROOD WAR legends to get their sales going
but hope Hots gets some popularity in korea
Three Brood War legends who all three played Starcraft II, Blizzard's game, at some point? And are really popular amongst the Korean netizens, and amongst foreigners; making this move quite intelligent?
Yes, very sad.

Predicted answers...(felt like acting like an idiot) What is it you like most about HoTS? Bisu: a new start ;_;...... Ryung: a new beginning with my Azubu team after being honored to play alongside Boxer in Slayers. Boxer: Who are you again? Ryung: ...
Do you enjoy the balance of the game as it is now for HoTS? Idra: **** off

This. There's nothing sad about using those legends to promote HotS... Yes they are where they are now because of their success in BW, but now they have a huge fanbase, that doesn't even follow BW anymore (and probably most of them don't follow Star2).
Blizzard is aiming at that fanbase, which is a good move. Nothing sad about that, it's just a good marketing move.
