Like, why would I claim something as scum, when I don't have control over the outcome. That being said, I kinda thought that it would be more obvious that I was actually the miller.

Last game Koshi did not fakeclaim Jailkeeper when he was under serious pressure from BOTH town AND his scumbuddies.

It makes a certain amount of sense for a scum player to call for miller claims, and if none appear to make his own "miller" claim to pre-empt any damning cop checks and become "confirmed town", while at the same time if one appears then he looks like he helped town by giving town good advice or something.
Koshi could very easily be trying something similar.

I don't agree just because of that that he is town, but I am certainly not convinced of him being scum anymore.

A fake jailkeeper claim is FAR more complicated than a miller claim. Take it from someone who solo'd a scum win off the back of a fake Jailkeeper claim.

So then he fakeclaimed as scum because he felt that on n0, 5 hours after the game started and 66 hours before we lynch someone, that the case by DP was undefendable.

The more I think about it the more I am leaning town on koshi, he wouldnt make the claim under pressure as scum, and if he was scum why not until the end of the night if he was going to wait to claim is scum to make sure he wasnt going to get counter claimed. While his timing doesnt make much sense I dont think it makes much sense for scum either.

It doesn't make a ton of sense as scum but it makes even less sense for him to play the way he did as town. It simply isn't a reasonable play for a townie to make. I can see where a scum player would believe it was the right play.
