he plays starcraft and is really bad (to the point where i can beat him with proxy gates in his base) hes the kind of kid who brings coupons to school i bring this up because its pretty funny to watch him embarrass himself everyday xD | ||

I was lucky enough to go to a private high school. We had a dean of students, an ex-marine, who was feared by everyone in school, for good reason. If you got called into his office you knew it was a big deal. So at lunch one day I saw a big fat "SEE ME" on the demerit list next to my name. I started panicking and thinking about what I could have done to get in trouble. I went into his office and he instantly told me that I had single-handedly failed nearly half of the freshman class. According to him, he had been fielding calls every day with parents pissed-off about their son's grades and it was all my fault. What had I done? Why, I hosted the Halo demo on the school network, of course. Apparently the freshmen were playing Halo PC during all of their free time (since there really wasn't much else to do in a rural boarding school.) He told me to take it off or else. I gained a sort of fame with the freshman class after that. Whenever they learned my name, they would invariably say something like, "Oh, YOU'RE Ben Burdett." It's not that spectacular but I'll bet none of you have failed half of an entire class before. Although, that story probably isn't as interesting as my middle school's mass student gay sex scandal. | ||

I guess something "embarrassing" was actually in the 7th grade when we had to write "peninsula" on the board for a presentation and I wrote the first 5 letters of the word, realized I missed an "N" and went looking for an eraser. My presentation partner just kinda stood there and turned red. I didn't realize what I wrote until I saw it from the teacher's test as I got the eraser. Heh. | ||
