If your [Stream] thread was moved to the general TL Stream subforum (aka SC stream land), find your thread and PM it to me and I'll move it back to LoL territory. I can argue with staff that moving a non-SC thread into a SC subforum is just asking for that thread to get buried.

I have admin approval. I'll be moving LoL streams back to the subforum. Stream name will be based on Summoner name.

I don't know why you'd start Cloth Armor + 5 Pot on Rammus in the new jungle. He's perfectly fine with Boots + 3 Pot.

You clear faster and safer with more hp, and with powerball you don't need boots to gank. The difference between 650 and 700 movement speed is negligable at those movement speeds.

I can't imagine why you would need 5 pots. I have been opening Vamp Sceptre and the only time I dip below like 85% health is on the small golems if I let them both wail on me for a while.

Seriously, Rammus is so strong and fast in the new jungle that sometimes I don't even build that Vamp into Wriggles. If I get FB or a couple early kills/assists I skip it and go straight into my Randuins. The vamp scepter plus the healing sigils is all the sustain I have ever needed. I feel like all five of those pots would just sit in my inventory the whole game.

Erm,the standard rammus opening right now is regrowth 1 pot as far as I know.At least that's what I do.

I'll have to try that one. I imagine that build skips wriggles entirely and goes straight to randuins. Wriggles for me is really situational these days. It really speeds up clearing the buff bosses and I won't try early dragons without it if my team is punks and don't like to help.

Randuins is pretty much the only "every game" item I get on Rammus these days. I think there is potential in an opening that leads right into it.

regrowth doesn't build into Randuin's, it's rejuv. I thought the regrowth was for a philo stone.

What is the name of the little health regen item you get with a chain armor to build wardens mail? What is the difference?

edit: looked it up. My bad.
# Regrowth Pendant: +15 health regeneration per 5 seconds. 435 gold.
# Rejuvenation Bead: +8 health regeneration per 5 seconds. 250 gold.

Looking at rammus from survivability per gold, any build that doesn't try to get as much hp as possible leaves rammus easier to kill than otherwise.

Just couldn't tell with "What is the difference" I figured not. Those small items are confusing when you normally just buy the larger item straight up. I've never seen anyone open with Rejuv beads. I think I remember Barbsq mentioning he tried it a long time ago on supports.

I like how his ranked team is called "Dude Potential 5" =D

Also is 0 21 9 standard on rammus atm? I feel as if like 9 in offense would help him a lot. Also I think it makes more sense to run 12arpen and the rest in AS for some slight dmg increase early on imo.

(Or run MPen and be like W thornmail hurpdurp)

Can anyone tell me if I'm spewing bullshit or if the above makes actually sense?

I've never built Philo on Rammus but I don't think it would fit my playstyle very well. I really want that Randuins and boots as soon as possible. Delaying the philo means it won't play for itself until the game is more or less decided, and all that gold could be buying me some HP, which is what I want most at that point.

Running 0/21/9 is definitely NOT standard. Some kids in the Rammus thread were talking about running 21/9/0 (I think it was Mogwai but not sure). I run 9/21/0 with MRlvl Blues, Armor Yellows, ArPen Reds, and AS quints. I could see running 9 in util as viable because I use a lot of mana in the jungle, but I think offensive tree is better.

Delaying the philo means it won't play for itself until the game is more or less decided, and all that gold could be buying me some HP, which is what I want most at that point.

What is your playstyle, and how does it make delaying your Randuin's for five minutes to get a Philo (and set yourself up for one of the best items in the game) a bad decision?

You need to account for the gold gained with philo gold/10, philo regen letting you skip pots, and amount of extra time spend in jungle farming//ganking because you'll be closer to full health more and won't need to back as often. Philo should almost always be bought if you're going to go fast randuins IMO.

I don't know why you'd start Cloth Armor + 5 Pot on Rammus in the new jungle. He's perfectly fine with Boots + 3 Pot.

If you go 0/21/9 then ram uses the full 15 arp that you'd get from reds. Rammus doesn't clear the jungle through autos, he lets minions kill themselves on his W and bladed armor while he takes as little damage as possible (the only exception being blue and red buffs). Minions have no MR so mpen wouldn't help his damage in the jungle, and when rammus plays the role of ad carry assassin the 10 mpen won't do a significant enough amount of damage to matter.

Rejuvenation Bead
Effects +8 health regeneration
Item cost 250g

Wasn't sarcastic, just a noob. I really thought we were talking about the same thing...

Exactly that. It delays my Randuins by five minutes. Rammus can clear so fast that after level six, I pretty much run around the map and gank for the rest of the game. The only time I ever need to back is after a team fight or an early dragon. Randuins helps a lot but not only giving me much more survivability when I need to do things like Taunt a Tryndamere or Tower dive, but also the active plus Powerball and Taunt pretty much glues everyone around me in place long enough for them to die and me to huehuehue all the way home. If I'm below 50% health, I'll just run back to my jungle, kill some stuff for a minute, and be back at full health with just life leach from wriggles and those healing buffs.

Jungle is a reactive enough role that I don't have a set build that I follow every single game, but I follow up my Randuin with Warmog if I'm getting beat on. Thornmail if they have a bunch or right clickers. Phantom Dancer if they have a bunch of squishies or are split pushing a bunch. Heck, I sometimes even get a Frozen Heart if the situation calls for it.

I don't claim to be the best Rammus in the world, but I do pretty well for my level when I play him. I have never tried the quick Philo opening, but I will.

Shurelya's is so good though, it lets your team keep up while you powerball in. I love it on people like Rammus and Amumu. Nothing says "I'm initiating motherfuckers" like speed boost + flash + curse of the sad mummy.

Wait, so you're getting WRIGGLES? The double gp/5 opening skips wriggles. Rammus clears fast enough without wriggles to make it work, and shureliya/randuin build out of those items, both things you'd conceiveably want.
The number you have dialed is out of porkchops.

don't build wriggles. not worth it on rammus imo. go regrowth+pot. then go philo->hog->situational tanky stuff.

you want the philo 'cause rammus uses a decent amount of mana and you're going to want to be giving up your blue ideally starting from the second blue. philo helps to alleviate your mana costs. hog 'cause rammus wants hp due to his W. philo and hog also build into some really good items. shurelias is amazing on rammus as is randuins.

I sometimes get wriggles. Only sometimes. This whole thing started when I said that I have been opening Vamp Scepter. Mainly because I couldn't think of another opening item that would be useful.

I like the idea of the Shureliya Tally Ho battle cry though. Its always so awkward in normals when i initiate a fight while my whole team watches.
