One thing I forgot to say, Khaldor must be really really happy with the decision about Jaedong.

Did you see his reaction at the WCS Korea when he saw all Jaedong's fangirls? !

He will clearly be upset that Jaedong got Code S instead of Code A.

I'm surprised so many want to switch Jaedong with Roro.

Should switch By.Sun with Roro. By.Sun has outperformed Jaedong for sure, but the thing is, By.Sun is already playing OSL. Would be nice to see two guys who have played very well (Jaedong and Roro) but not get the chance to do OSL get this chance.

Ahh sad for Roro. To be fair though, Jaedong seems to be doing well in SPL.

Jaedong was 10-9 in Proleague for SC2. He was actually pretty average.

did you watch the games? all the losses were protoss all ins. I would say that the best kespa players are Sun, Baby, Jaedong in that order. I don't think JD practiced for any of the wcs games.

if jeadong gets some time to prepare for this tournament I think he will win it.

Get Code A and Jaedong gets Code S

Obviously Jaedong is wildly more popular, and this is going to make this season the greatest ever, but I feel bad for Roro.

Bison deserves his spot. He has been the best player in Proleague, is OSL (1-0 over MKP), and was the second best placing KeSPA player during WCS Korea.

The seeds have nothing to do with popularity, afaik KeSPA used their proleague rankings (not exactly sure how they work)

A reddit user (rbcd) posted this:

Proleague Ranking

Code S:
Rain - 13-6, 7 ace match wins = 495
JaeDong 10-9, 6 ace match wins = 390

Code A:
Trap =11-4, 3 ace match wins = 375
RoRo = 9-6, 3 ace match wins = 315
Effort = 9-8, 3 ace match wins = 315
Shy 9-2 = 270

Barely Missed the cut:
Hero 8-5, 2 ace match wins = 270
Stork 8-3, 1 ace match win = 255
Soulkey 7-7, 1 ace match win = 225
Stats 6-2, 2 ace match wins = 210

He's Team8's ace. Samsung Khan has both Stork and RorO, who can both be ace.

I feel like RorO deserves that Code S seed more than either Jaedong or Sun.

Well it'll be interesting, JD might die though :/ I can see MC coming out and picking him as thats the sort of personality he has (if he doesn't choose MaNa), and I can't see that ending well for JD but who knows.
i'm about to open some fuckin' windows

Reverse engineering suggests that points = (30 * wins) + (15 * ace match wins)

Rain = 13*30 + 7 * 15 = 390 + 105 = 495
JaeDong = 10* 30 + 6 * 15 = 390

etc.etc.
