That's awesome. You'll have years of freetime if you're this good when you're only 12, so you'll be progamer status pretty soon. Good luck and have fun dude!
Nice stream and your league is pretty good for your age, you faced my two friends in 2v2 today and they say you bmed them called them "retards" etc, just cut down on the bm
just something that bothers me. Boxing and giving the attack command over and over and over again actually does not increase the effectiveness of your army, there is so many more useful things you can set that apm to... please work on that so i can stop cringing.
This is our secret weapon. We will be prepared to release him in 1-4 years. There will be no mercy. There will be no hesitation. It will be slow. It will be painful. We will triumph.
Love always, Foreigners
But seriously kid, you're good. Keep at it and you can really become something great.
easiest race? till master level probably toss, after that, the races are quite equal in needed skill. at very high pro level terran is probably harder imo.
I was playin' BW at a very crappy skill level back when I was twelve. Had no clue what iCCup was other than Use Map Settings "iCCup Clan Tryouts". But I only played Golems, Grocery Store Wars, Builders and Fighters, Evolves and Special Forces with the occasional 7v1 comp stomp...mad props if you are masters at twelve!
I'll have to watch your stream sometime, and i hope you do not live up to the "p12" reputition that young swedish gamers are showing these days. Anyhow, respect for a 12 year old master player.

Actually Destiny is shaping up pretty well from what I can see (at least he has good mechanics, so it wasent that bad of an insult. Keep improving and remember the right attitude is the best recipie for success. People that think they are incredible at the game usually dont learn new things as quickly as people who are humble and open to critique.

if he was 12 years old and a girl then it would be more likely. i think just being 12 is not enough
When I saw your thread in the User Streams section and read the attention begging title I immidiately knew what kind of stream you would set up. I decided to give it a go anyway. What I saw was so indicative of a 12 year old........
You stayed in a ZvT on Cloud Kingdom you had lost literally hours ago bunkering like a retard with tons of spore crawlers against a Sky Terran. Also this was your last base and you had lost all tech and production you didn't leave but dragged the game out for hours although he wasn't outmined and forced him to killl every single of your buildings. This just makes your stream uninteresting. If you don't stop that childish behavior nobody is going to watch your stream. Although don't call yourself master if you're diamond.
EDIT: I just saw you're asking for donations. What do you need them for?
Respect for the stream kid, you really rock! Continue streaming and playing since you have a lot of free time and you will soon become really really good.
/off Baio who are you to ask anyone why he needs donations ? Is there any person on the world that doesnt want money ? even if he is a kid money is money man...

haha
Even though i agree with what you said he's still just 12 years old. Not many 12 year old's are mature but this guy is actually more mature than i would of thought.

It's actually a shame that a diamond league zerg has half the amount of viewers of bomber, one of the best terrans.....
It's actually a shame that a diamond league zerg has half the amount of viewers of bomber, one of the best terrans.....
Do you find it also a shame when a 9 year old who kicks ass in karate has about a million views on youtube while someone who actually is better than him but also 10 years older has just two million views?
its impressive to be this good at something like starcraft 2 when your so young, i mean just think about the amount of concentration that is necessary to keep up the play at this level... if i remember correctly when i was twelve i wasnt even able to focus long enough on something this complicated that i would know how to start a sc2 game.
So all respect for you, if you can actually spend this kind passion on everything you want to achieve in life you will have a very bright future.

I watched his stream and he is not good. Not at all, mechanically speaken. If I wanna see something impressive I watch bomber playing offrace and still being on a high master level with it.
MaruPrime is only 14 and on Code S level but if I watch a stream I watch it to see good play not to see someone playing. If you watch a nine year old doing karate you admire his physical strength in comparison to his fragil body. If you watch someone play SCII it doesn't matter if he is 10 or 80....

I watched his stream also and mechanical he got potential becuase he is fast and got good multitasking. So if he keeps training that and other mechanics he can become very good.
Now plz go way we dont care about Maru or Bomber if we did we would proberly watch there stream.

You sound like a bitter old man who can't even give a little kid some appreciation.
Its pretty cool that hes 12 and high diamond but i don't know I see him all inning everygame and full energy queens at 10minutes or so makes me kinda sad he hotkeys his mutas and then still box them =/ Good luck to him though no hate but I feel like this will be a short hype and that his viewers will drop soon. Maybe he will be a pro one day its not unlikely but his play looks really weak at this moment, but yea he is still really young. Good luck to him.

Why are you even comparing Bomber with a 12 year old?
Can't you understand that people are interested in following this young kids developement because he's good for his age and he got a lot of potential?
Seems like you are just pissed that Bomber doesn't have the viewer numbers you think he deserves and you must take it out on something so you bash this innocent little kid. You're tragic.
Im a Bomber fan myself but i would never be so stupid and compare a Code-S level world-class player with a 12 year old.

1. I bash him for attention seeking title.2 2. I bash him for childish behavior on stream (dragging games by refusing to leave) 3. I bash him for weak play on stream (bad mechanics/strange all-ins) 4. I bash people for not appreciating high level play and giving a low level player attention (no wonder lol starts to take over esports)
You see: no stupid one dimensional bashing but all sorts of multi-pronged bashes.
And FYI: As we have seen since some time age is no factor in SCII. There are 14 to 16 year old Code S players just as 30 years old Code S players
Watched a bit of the stream, very good overall but since he plays from 14:00 to 22:00 I don't find the fact that he reached masters that impressive. Assuming it's his regular schedule for pretty much every normal day, it's way more hours than most people in diamond and below dedicate to the game, so I think it's normal to be better than them with that much daily practice.
It would be nice though if he proved me wrong and climbed his way up to high masters in a couple of months, being able to challenge the laddering pros consistently.

This kid isn't korean though. He doesn't live in korea. He doesn't have the same practice environement as in korea. He doesn't have a professional team.
Just because he doesn't live in south-korea and not competing in Code-S doesn't mean he shouldn't get any attention. What you're saying is that only the best players should have viewers. But that's only your opinion..... not everyone else's. So get off your high horse and stop trolling.

Haha what a clown you are. How old are you?
If he's twelve I might be inclined to donate to him.
Haha I love the haters comment. He is 12, is on a master level at sc2 and speaks decent 2nd language (english) and he knows how to promote himself. Props to him. And I also love the people complaining about his childish attitude, I mean he is 12. But "you know in my days, when I was 12 I would go to high school, go to uni, have 3 part time jobs, help my parents at the house and still find time to help the poor".
At least when I was 12 I was really immature, let him be immature when he still can Don't see why you guys are wasting complaining about him, just don't watch his stream and that's it.

Exactly! You're supposed to be somewhat immature at that age. At that age maturity hasn't been fully developed and the brain is said to not being fully grown until somewhere above the 20's. Maybe that's why some people in here are way more immature about their ways of speaking towards him in here.
This guy is awesome, he said he plays for only a few months now. All the attention is probably a bit overwhelming for him. That being said, he still plays way better than I ever will and I respect that. I think it's incredible that he plays, especially on this level and that he streams as well. Just let him have his fun, he doesn't have to be the best in the world.

Must be true, considering you have to be 12 to buy SC2

actually, it seems like you think that you arent BMing but you are, why say that you are in masters when you are in diamond btw? Improve manners, and as said in a previous post, instead of boxing and moving ur army over and over and over, take that "wasted time" to actually do some good, like checking for injects, drone count etc, but keep it up ;p
People complaining here is like people who wanted to see DBZ but went to see Tangled. I'm here to watch an adorable 12 year old play SC2 better than I can.

Dude, people are flaming others here!! Go on and report, teach us how to be nice
This is impressive, period. I will try to tune in sometime. Although, I will say the "hate" is actually good training for realville. If he has to struggle with it now, he should be skilled in dealing with it when that matters more.
Edit: oof have to get up at 6AM to watch. Sorry buddy. Not gonna happen... I don't do morning starcraft
No offense but, according to his ladder career he's been playing since s1, not 6 months back and first zerg portrait got unlocked at 02.05.11. Just sayin, he hasnt been playing for 6 months ;p and people who think that he dropped down from masters to diamond, highly doubt it, this is his first season in diamond.
First of all, the stream itself is quite entertaining and that should be the aim of a well done stream. Otherwise i dont understand the excitement about a 12-years-old being in high diamond. The learning curve of the game is not dependent from age, its most likely about playing. I mean, hes playing 8 hours a day, that maybe leads to a progamer in the perspective of time spent on the game. I dont want to offend here anything, and i dont know for how long hes doing this now. He mentioned he plays the game for like half a year as zerg? Before half year protoss. I dont make any comparisons or conclusions here, maybe i open some minds here in some ways of thinking. Just to say it one more time, the stream is entertaining (besides the BM)
For his age the kids good. His decision making isnt the greatest, obviously, but hes good. As a top 10 diamond toss i cant help but watch and get confused about how hes that high. No disrespect, but i face zergs that play much much better then that and watching him knowing that im only a little lower then him, makes me sad as i feel i play better then that.
And i hope he doesnt stream as much all weekend as he did yesterday, as a parent myself i wouldnt be letting my 12 year old play for that long, bad parenting.
Im gonna keep watching though, and hope he improves alot

He is acually playing as good as your opponents, everything just looks so sloppy when you watch on stream. You are used to watch Code S quality and even Code S seems sloppy sometimes and a top master player will look like a platinum scrub on stream.
To all the haters: go set up your own stream and do it better yourself. If you dont want to, then simply leave this thread alone and go be negative somewhere else.
Pretty cool that this young guy is playing at such a high level, hopefully he will keep on practising an doesnt let the attention get to his head. Maybe he will become great some day.
I hope he doesn't make the same mistake i did when i was younger and swap to other game due to graphics and popularity among my friends :p Maybe if i would have kept playing SC:BW from age 8 to 20 i would would have been something! xD
The kid is awesome! Watched his stream yesterday. He really enjoys the game, and enjoys the fame and attention he is getting aloooot atm, which he should!! KEEP IT UP MAN! <3

i think, that the amount he plays, isnt something u can complain about. Most of the people on that age played alot with the ps1, an playing pokemon allday, when i was 12.. So whats the difference with playing sc2 Instead?

Maybe I'm an exception, but I don't remember myself playing straight 8 hours videogames of any sort.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but 8 hours means that you come back from school , play, have dinner and then go bed... Well...
I'm an exception by reading your post . Thanks, didn't know that

In Sweden a 12 year old go to school like 8-14 and many school doesnt have more than like 5-10 mins of homework per day at average.. So i guess he should be at home at 14:15 or something to play untill 22:00 or so with a break for dinner :D

The quicker people stop being judgemental assholes the better.

Some people count pre-teen as teen. My old english teacher did, her argument was that children are more educated nowadays so refering to childrens ages should be altered. Adolescence is more than just physical development but mental. I cant really remember it all as it was a while back but it was a pretty good debate. I just didnt want to upset anyone who thought the same.

I haven't watched his stream, i have no idea what he is like and im not claiming to know either.
Again, the quicker you mature the better. It's a lot harder to change once your brain has stopped developing.

Everyone matures sooner or later. It depends on the individual. It's not something you just do, it comes naturally with age. Let him be a kid while he's still a kid and stop trolling now. Im sure you have something better to do.

I wasn't the one claiming that he was being too immature or anything, i for one don't care. All i said was that maturing quickly has benefits.

When you're promoting yourself on a public forum that isn't a kids playground and want to actually get somewhere, you're expected to act like a mature professional. Age has nothing to do with that and is no excuse for anything. Saying "let them be a kid" is silly, if he wants to gain recognition and grow in the sc2 scene he can't simply let his age get the best of him. I myself have made sure to hold myself to a higher standard than the average person and it is extremely frustrating when people generalize the mature professional young players among the legions of immature ones.
Wow honestly this is impressive. Such a level with this age. I just hope for you that it is the right thing to do and when you love what you are doing it's alright I think.
I don't really care if he calls people retards on stream or shit like that. He's just hurting himself by doing that.
However, if he want to come to TL, where the average age (and level of maturity) is WAY above 12, he should try to behave more mature to be taken seriously. He's obviously above average at SC2 for his age, and if he continues to practice seriously he could become something one day.
Not being an asshat ingame will give him more viewers which is good for his future (both recognition and some moneyz).
@Marcus: Really impressed by your play, I remember how bad I used to be at gaming when I was your age :D
I see posts about him bming other players, him bragging to other players he's only 12 and he's in masters, honestly so what if he's bragging he's 12 years old lol it's common for kids to brag about things when there that age. The bm well in this day and age many kids aren't very nice at least not from what I know most know swear words back when I was in gr7/8 it's not all that un-common. I mean many players bm even some of the pros do so just because of his age you guys are getting mad about it? I don't understand.Anyways just my thoughts.
in all honesty, and I dont in any way mean to belittle your achievement. I dont really see how its so special being diamond/masters at 12 giving you have the time to play. Myself Id say was better at these types of things at that age then I am now, atleast more natural ability so given a few months to practice I think I would have been better as a 12y/o then I am now. The real issue for me would though have been time, I would hardly have been allowed 4-5hours each day infront of a computer :p
The real barrier regarding age ought to be the strategic one but with some general browsing of among others this site you should learn pretty quickly what to do and what not to.
Keep doing well, its awsome and all but lets not pretend this means its a pro in the making :p. as a low master player myself I really find that Im still horrible and wouldnt even start to consider playing in a serious fashion, the difference between low masters and high GM is so incredibly big.
