Many people have been asking me to stream so I decided I will finally give it a try. My PC/Internet situation isn't the best but I had a test run last night and it went pretty well. I have plans to make this stream pretty epic over time, right now it's going to be a work in progress as I experiment what the best settings are and such. I will interact with viewers and once I get mic/webcam I will probably be speaking alot and analyzing replays and games. I hope this stream will be successful, I am in kind of a unique position where I am pretty involved in various places on TL as well as a high level player on sc2 so I hope this will draw viewers from various places of the community.
A little bit about me,
I'm a former broodwar player. I competed in WCG USA for the last 3 years of broodwar 2008-2010. I was B- on iccup and switched to SC2 after release. In SC2 I'm a GM level terran player on NA server (seasons 2 and 3) This season I unfortunately did not get GM but I still play all GM/High masters on the ladder. I compete in as many MLG events as I can. I know the American SC2 scene pretty well and have helped provide WCG USA coverage on TL. I'm also known to some via other peoples streams. I used to do broodwar fpvods way back in the day on youtube so some people have come to know me through that. I also am pretty involved in the local sc2 community in the DC area, I coordinate lan tournaments and help plan other events for the local TL/sc2 community. My actual accomplishments in sc2 are not many. I consistently make it far enough in tournaments to beat most of the unknown players only to get knocked out by the usual pros.
I don't really have any major accomplishments in sc2, I typically come like a round or two from qualifying for anything major or doing anything big. My TLPD: LuckyFool
What I will stream,
I will mainly stream ladder and practice games for sc2 but I also plan to play broodwar in the upcoming month so that should be fun...as of now I will be streaming without commentary just music and sounds but eventually when I get a better setup I will plan to commentate games. I rarely play other games and almost never offrace so this will be almost purely sc2/terran stream.
If anyone has any suggestions or feedback please leave it here! I will be trying to improve this stream over the coming days/weeks since I've never streamed before.

thanks for watching guys, I need to tweak around with settings a bit, my cpu is lagging in fights, it makes it hard to play while streaming. I might need to upgrade cpu so I can stream at a good quality with no lag.

What CPU you using? And what quality are you attempting to stream in?
Core 2 quad9450 2.66ghz. It's not bad but it's nearly 3 years old and I've been meaning to go to an i7 or just wait till next series which I think will be released mid next year or so?
As for quality I've changed it like 5 times in the past 2 days but as of now it's like 740x440 or something(16: 9) with quality set to 8 on xsplit. The main thing for me is for viewers to be able to read all chat on the screen easily. I would like to stream in hd
I wanted to make a joke about now being able to stream snipe you, but then I realized it would be a horrible joke because nobody would ever purposely enter a TvT.
I'm pretty sure I got stream sniped by combatex last night already. He sent all probes directly to my base too. Felt like he was giving me a warning message or something...was too weird to be a coincidence. Its literally during the first few minutes of my most recent broadcast.

I have a mic but I'm not going to do my full setup until after MLG. after MLG I will be streaming mainly broodwar for a week or two in preparation for a bw grudge match vs caucasianasian.

Hey guys I'm gonna try to stream more regularly, going live with some ladder now and then later probably playhem and maybe some replay/commentary or something.
once I upgrade my pc in a couple weeks I'll be able to stream in better quality + webcam so watch for dat.
also that hacker omfg so funny. stims forward marines to kill an incoming scv that he never scouted LOL I knew he was hacking during the game, the replay proof so good lolol
Planning on streaming some bw tonight at around 8pm eastern. Gonna do some coaching TvP/PvZ and maybe some practice games. If anyone is interested in practice games or anything let me know, would be nice to have some people to play at least a D+/C- level.
