Wow wow wow, you guys need to advertise somehow when you have such a high profile finals!
Almost missed it if I didn't check the playhem site.
Gj guys.
Thorazin vs HasuObs, this could have been a NASL finals.

I know some of these tournaments can get very long and tiresome to cast, but, making finals BO5 would be pretty nice.

We actually used to have BO5 finals, but players weren't too positive about that. I agree BO5 could be more fun, maybe something to consider when we up the prizepool (if we ever do).

The casters are amazing. They make watching these dailies even better, because of how they make each game fun to watch with their knowledge and commentary, along with the occasional funny / smart remarks either about what is happening during the game or about something on chat. Besides the commentators, the players and the level of skill during each of these dailies is awesome. From watching these dailies I have actually learn ways to improve my game play during ladder matches as Protoss. Over the commentators and players in all of the NA dailies are awesome, and I absolutely enjoy watching them every night.

Yeah great casters! And drama lol I love it!

Props for hasu taking him out!
I play 1v1 SC2 because I've heard there are people who are currently better than I - and that pisses me off.

I love you guys so much! Watching the stream everytime it's up! You should really consider getting the color mod for SC2, it'll make the stream so pretty.

I like the color mod. Especially in mirror matc hups. ZvZ and PvP it can be hard to tell the difference between lings/zealots.

Color Mod - Yay or Nay?
Information about the mod:+ Show Spoiler +
The color mod makes player colors more noticeable so it's easier to tell units apart in close battles such as ling/bane zvz, here is a link to the thread and a sample screenshot comparison:

Great casters, great setup, great matches, often fan games, the only thing that would make it better is if they had it every day... oh wait they do

I love the community that Playhem has gathered. It represent the common players of Starcraft as well as the Pros that play. I love the casters, with being quite bias to Kibbelz since he introduced me to it through his stream. Improvements for the SC Stream would be, I would love to more collaborative efforts with the pro teams. It feels as though the pro players participating are doing it out of randomness. Maybe impossible, but it would be cool if they could do some events like IPL fight club or some invitationals. I love the voting poll that was added, genius and awesome.

As far as improvements for Playhem, I think the other games that Playhem offers should find a time to be streamed. The community for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom is very big and can draw attention to Playhem further. I wouldnt mind casting/hosting this tournaments. I've done research on this and can back up how effective this would be. Hope this get's taking into great consideration.

I really appreciate reading detailed comments like this one, and feel the same way about this community. Huge hearts to EVERYONE who participates, whether you are a player, organizer, caster, silent lurker, or person typing in the chat (keep that chat-interaction going guys, because (and I know I've said it before) it's wonderful for the audience to play a part).

I will say that a big aspect which I LOVE about this particular community IS the more 'cozy' atmosphere of the daily tournaments, which demonstrate that even the pro players are people who wish to compete/practice at will. I'm absolutely not bashing the idea of collaborating with the teams on occasion to offer special events if at all possible, because obviously that would be a HUGE step for growth and exposure. I also agree that it would be awesome to see some of the other tournaments casted live if at all possible (maybe construct an additional channel for such events, if it's not in the works already :D)

You ALL are doing a wonderful job!

Okay, I'm going to add two more cents to this same post:

Something that's becoming a more regularly occurring fan-favorite: The Afterparty.

As we know, all great events have a great afterparty, and Playhem Dailies are no exception. Whether the team games (recently dubbed "the afterparty") occur on the Playhem stream, or that of an individual host, fans LOVE it.

So here's just a quick idea to maybe keep people on stream, telling friends, and coming back: Make the afterparty a prize in itself (when a host is able to do it, of course): Trivia between games?? --at least n. viewers answer correctly before the next match, the chance of the afterparty increases?? <- just a thought - trivia is always a fun way to interact with chat, and who doesn't want to learn new stuff (or be right)?

As always, Thanks! And thanks for playing a bit more music as well :D ... Now, have some hovering party candy:

We try to! Usually post on reddit and things like that. Casters tweet too .

For the Bo5 things, it's a problem to have that. These guys have had to play like 5-8 different MU's. Everything from the quarters-and on is bo3. So by the finals you have 2 bo3's and at least 3-4 bo1's they go through. That's a potential of 10 games before the finals. We already run till midnight some days(on the NA daily). The players prefer shorter games and they're not worth alot (75$).

If you haven't noticed, in our high prizepool tournaments we have bo5/bo7(Im not sure about bo7, but bo5 for sure.) This is due to the big prize pool and it's worth it to the players/us for them to get a more even series.
