Yeah, without someone to draw attention, ozil/gotze/muller are way too predictable, if germany can find someone that makes them free they will be back on track to do really well at WC 2018

I doubt Leverkusen will turn Volland into that central striker. But he may still be the striker of choice for the national team in the next WC. Or you hope that Timo Werner is really exploding in those coming 2 years with RedBull. But I think the next WC may still be too early for him.

If Guardiola would have won a single Champions League with Bayern his stint would be deemed a great success by everyone. He didn't though.

I always considered him world class but he really is underrated imo.

I'll still need a rational explanation on why I should cheer for France because I'm French.

Lloris is for sure world-class, I'm surprised he didn't get to move from Tottenham to a better club. He deserves it. He was the one who prevented many humiliations for the French team in the 2009-2012 era.

But hating on French football team because football is popular is silly. If you don't care you don't post in football LR threads nor want explicitly French team to do bad. So you care and have a bad mentality ^^.

I don't "hate" on the French football team because football is popular (because else I just wouldn't watch football, as you pointed out) ; I "hate" (I just support their opponents more often than not, as I'll cheer for France in the finals, for example) on the French football team because it is overhyped relatively to the other national football teams, to the other French national teams, and to their actual skill.

He was held back by the old Spurs and France defense a few years back. His saves are mostly understated and he doesn't play like a sweeper/GK like Neuer. Currently I will still rate Neuer, Buffon, DDG above Lloris but this may change soon.

But then I saw many more simulations so they were just playing bad. I still don't know if our defense is not as bad as people thought or if Germany's attack is bad enough to let us think that, probably a bit of both. Germany's been unlucky with their players but so do we afaik right before Euro, Italy fought hard and left some scars thankfully.

But i was completly lost where that radio moderator got the 10 goals from
