I didn't see all of the tyler series so I have no idea how many thors he used. But he certainly looked strong against Kas, MC and fruitdealer regardless of the thors. | ||

I guess you could play on custom maps where the old patch settings are used in situations like this. Whatever the case, GOGO EPIC FINALS! | ||

i doubt that the patch will change anything in this game considering that both thorzain and naniwa are really good player and have enough to time to prepare. | ||

Tyler himself said that he wasn't sure how to beat Thors and that they were powerful, and incontrol said ThorZaIN was on to something... but this doesn't necessarily mean it is imbalanced. Maybe adelscott style mass expansion mass gateway unit could beat it, or maybe something like that but with a carrier transition could be effective... as far as i know the only people to use Thors in tvp were Painuser and Thorzain. Bottom line is thorbased builds were very effective in the current metagame, but they didn't have a chance to come to prominence because of the patch (which is sad, but it is what it is) Besides its not like thorzain was a one trick pony, in all the other games he played he played very good MMMGV games which were pretty standard, and he looked really solid in those. He also showed great play against Terran and Zerg even though TvT was supposed to be his weakness  this isn't a personal attack against you btw, but just making it clear that people shouldn't think thorzain is just abusing thor cannons | ||
