maybe I'm playing devil's advocate, but even if Naugrim didn't show up for his matches he still EARNED his spot. If Lzgamer wanted a spot he would of scored more points to qualify... tough love

* Why 2-0 W.O?
1. He never officially told me, the admin. Telling Kolll is not telling the TSL Staff.
2. Even if he did tell me, he didn't give me a chance to say yes or no, he just went AFK.
3. Even if I accepted, he came back after 27 minutes, not 15.
4. We had no idea when he'd be back or if he'd even be back.
5. At 18:48 when W.O was decided, we were 50 minutes past scheduled time.

What is the big fing deal, so someone has more important things to do than play starcraft! It is just a game and TSL 2 is just a tournament. Playing should be fun it is not life or death. I do think it is kind of shitty to give someone W/O win just cause one player is a little late.

Your argument is self-defeating since there is a referee and two opponents with more important things to do as well.

Yeah sure, tournaments for sc with 10k as prize money for 1st place happen every other week end, what's the big deal? And little late is everything within one hour, right? And who cares about rules anyway, right? Right?

Be careful of what ur posting, because a tournament like this is taking place very rarely, and since the money price is so high people is very serious about this.

I dont think this exact thing has been posted yet but following the conversation this is what I thought:
if he got sick of BW before the ladder ended and didn't really feel like playing the tournament why did he contact the TSL staff and provide the information they wanted? He HAD to make contact with them on several occasions and on any of those he could've said "bring in the next guy, I can't make it". I think saying that you "lost all respect for him" is a overstatement though, this is just a walkover, happens in every tournament. He's still a good player and he's bitching way less then other people have before him.

Feel kind of bad about Lz though, since he was so close to making it with the DQ's and stuf. Like the way he plays.
