iSTime was just temp banned for 1 week by EvilTeletubby. That account was created on 2006-11-19 16:07:22 and had 1499 posts. I'm seeing people get banned for really minor, insignificant things, and yet I see a whole slew of one-liner offensive posts towards the US not getting warned. I mean it really feels like some double standards or something. I'm thinking for future MLGs and other tournaments, we should setup a white-listed IRC channel for non-asshole TL people. You do realize he was arguing against the people complaining about females having separate tournaments? Edit- To be honest, I can't understand this one either. One week seems a lot considering that he was actually making a good point (albeit not phrased in the best way). Chess is a good example of a competition where women's and men's competitions are separate despite there not being inherent physical advantages for men. Not only that, but he's a very useful strat forum poster. Then you have Kamais_ookin who has a terrible history, makes a disgusting post and only gets a 2 day ban. I guess mods will always have different standards and opinions about things. | ||

I'm new here and just trying to figure out how everything works and what standards I should follow but it's sort of difficult. I want to learn as quickly as possible for future reference. Even the ten commandments are kind of vague, saying things like "if we don't like you, we simply ban you." | ||

Before when I posted about the crap in IRC for example, I wasn't trying to criticize the moderation, I was seriously getting upset about the obnoxious posters in there (I still  you harrem I promise!). Most of us understand that the report queue is probably about 80 pages right now and you all are doing your best and that you have likely ended up spending most of this weekend there instead of watching MLG.
