This particular ban though, strikes me as overkill at the very least. And I do find this moderator somewhat suspect of unrestrained political bias, given some of his own posting history.
With some drama, I might ask if I'm at risk for posting right-wing comments on tl.net that are even slightly inflammatory or unconstructive? He does this kind of stuff a lot....
If I were really banning people based on political opinions that I disagree with, there'd be a lot more banned people on TL. It's not what he says, it's how he says it. He was warned and banned multiple times in the past for making it impossible to have a reasonable discussion. Every politics post he makes incites a flamewar. People should be able to have fun on TL, and any post he makes in a political thread instantly makes it way harder to have a fun, constructive discussion.

I for one would like to support Roffles for his blatant statements and obvious trolling in the KMD thread. Makes it really fun to read, sometimes he really puts the truth out there. Let me say it another way, he puts the life into that thread which would otherwise be just endless praising of different artists, making it a "Korean Music Praise" thread, KMP. Well, looks like he stepped over the line too many times to get away with the last one.
For his own good, I think he should better tune the delivery of his opinions, but I hope he continues to express his opinions in the KMD thread.

Seriously, he only does this to get a rise out of the SONEs, as they're the most sensitive about this. Everyone else gets dissed one way or another and nobody really takes a bait out of it; comment on SNSD's lack of *insert whatever here* and you get at least one white-knighting post. People just need to be less reactive to the whole thing, Roffles is just the type of K-Pop guy who gets his kicks from provoking the fanatics.
