That account was created on 2010-08-07 21:03:13 and had 9130 posts. Reason: 8th warning in a row and the second warning you would receive this month for posting in the pictures thread alone. Where was the picture? Told you I'd be there. Ten minutes after Probe1's last response in this thread. What was the actual post though? I have no idea how anyone can manage this. The only reason I post as much as I do is that I have a crappy temp job right now where I spend 70% of the day on TL. I suppose if I stopped playing so much Minecraft I would have more time for TL, but then why don't I just sell my soul?  | ||

What strikes me as particularly curious, is that he was banned by a moderator with some history of posting in political threads, and getting in arguments with jdseesmoreglass and those who share his opinions. In fact the attached explanation to the ban in the automated ban list even bears signs of personal strife, claiming that jdseemoreglass comes off as "insufferable" in "every post" he makes, which I find to be rather ridiculous. The only thing insufferable (to some) about the vast majority of his posts is the very opinion they represent, not the way in which they represent it, unless one is holding him to an exceedingly high standard. Admittedly there's nothing wrong with a moderator expressing derision to the person he temp-bans, even irrational anger - that in itself hardly suggests that the ban was undeserved. This particular ban though, strikes me as overkill at the very least. And I do find this moderator somewhat suspect of unrestrained political bias, given some of his own posting history. With some drama, I might ask if I'm at risk for posting right-wing comments on tl.net that are even slightly inflammatory or unconstructive? | ||
