Actually we never did any sort of grammar exercises in high school. The class moaned and cried like babies. Last time I did grammar exercises was probably in Grade 6, and nothing advanced either. Verb tenses or tense agreement? And it really shows. I cry when I read most of my former class' writing. Terrible in every way possible. Only a handful of students will even have legible handwriting. And legible as in I can read it. I still can't actually read it because every half sentence I wonder how you cannot understand the differences between your and you're when you're 18, and why they're even using your and you'res in a Grade 12 essay. Back to my main point, I'd rather have these sort of not-even-errors than some students' writing. Team Liquid is a real breath of fresh air compared to a lot of other forums. | ||
