Bit of a bingo, but it's not really how it should work? Yea, Europe might have more high level players playing, but what if none of the American/South American players had qualified through BSL?
It's a tough issue, with lag playing a role as well. World qualifiers would be best imo. But the biggest complainer here (aka Artosis) would be whining so much if the TR would be lower than anyhting but 24 already.... In a world tournament this is just a reality though...
And I mean, even the player that won the Ascension tournament doesn't seem to get that far in BSL, so from that pov it seems quite fair? No offense to Gypsy, I love him as a player and commentator (you're awesome Gypsy), but his BSL performance does seem to show there is a gap.

You guys can continue having your terrible tournament formats in sub-par playing conditions and keep telling yourselves that top europeans are close to koreans, and that SA is the closest skill level after because TR 12 games are real starcraft games, and that mrminerals makes great competitive maps.
