He does have a valid point, except that this is a community dedicated to a video game. People are bound to be passionate. Yes there are better ways to show your passion than nitpicking but you can't really expect people to just accept that they have nothing to contribute. I do find the irony in that blog quite tasty.

Am I the only one who was pleaseed by this ban? Between the SOTG thread and his recent dreamhack posts it seems like all he did was balance whine even when it had no place in the conversation.

Step #4: If OP contains a replay and a response goes up within X minutes, autoban. Bonus points if X is equal to the length of all linked replays.

I'm not so sure why people take the time to write lengthy complaints about members and moderation of teamliquid.. people on the internet are going to say pretty much what they want (i DO have a man crush on liquid tyler, fuck yeah, listen to that voice) and from my perspective the mods here is warn and ban assholes or people who blatantly break rules. I have no problem with this!

Then you should use the report function because an OP like that is an imbalance thread waiting to happen.

It was a good ban to show featured streamers have to adhere to the rules as well. Especially since being a featured streamer on this site helps you in many ways outside of the site at the same time.
Seems a trend could be forming. First get TL to feature your stream build the fan base more, then get greedy and try to get them to use your other website so you can generate revenue off the hits as well as your stream hits.

I had no idea that Desrow had a bad history with TL. He's always seemed like fine guy to me, I used to watch his stream. I don't mean to sound like a hurt fanboy, and I know I dont know the whole history of desrow's earlier transgressions, but damn that perm seems harsh. Sad that i wont see him on the right-side bar anymore
