I always thought he was an interesting fellow, even after I found out he was a) an English major and b) a Marxist (Das Kapital M). He did not comport himself very well in that last blog post though. The internet is not always the best place to have discussions and one reason is because it's much easier to call people monsters when they aren't sitting in front of you. For someone calling TL childish, he went into the wild accusations pretty quickly. I couldn't even tell if they weren't mostly rhetorical. Djzapz deserves a respect point for not going berserk.

He let his arguments get the best of him, and he did it a lot. Like I'm not saying all debates can be or should be civil but when you get to a point where one side reduces both themselves and the opposition to the ideology they're supporting or opposing, that's the time to start pulling it back and bring a bit of the human factor back into it.

He's obviously not JD. Their views are on the opposite side of the political spectrum. I've had my suspicions for a while that he was a pbu and which one he was and this just confirms it.

And you know what? Fuck him. He has the opposite views of our crazy Austrian economics posters but they have the exact same style of posting. If you've never seen that type of posting before, those people make their posts as unreadable as possible by putting together as long a string of academic buzzwords as they can muster. Most of the time, the academic jargon they use are only used by the circlejerk political belief to which they belong.

The more fringe their theory is, the more big words they use to try to mask the lunacy of their arguments. They have this one theory based on one event that happened maybe hundreds of years ago and they will attempt to use that theory to explain everything that happens in the world today. Every post is an attempted derailment of current events to discuss history.

It's funny to see him call TL childish while using general politics/economics threads as a teenage dick-wagging forum. He wasn't really interested in debating the issues at hand. He's just somebody who's trying way too hard to look smarter than everybody else and he's doing it in the most adolescent of ways.

And for the record, I think it's sam.
