Not sure you want that. I hear they're basically professsional revolutionaries. But your play should be to wait it out. They're bad at making 'em stick. Germans get "nationalistic" to be sure... though it's in the sense of "thinking they're better than other countries", not properly of "nationalism" as an ideology about there being a proper place in the world for nation-states, since their nationalism is often explicitly hostile to proper nationalism. :-) But it's a wacky "nationalism." They're proud of their country and system (as they should be...Germany's got a lot of shit figured out). But they're allergic to looking/feeling like their proud of their country/system, so they sublimate this in all sorts of clever ways. Look for "every western/developed/civilized country" or "in the modern world" or "most countries/culture" or sometimes just "now" as keywords for when they want to praise something about their country/system that is, in fact, quite rare worldwide. | ||
