Though posting about the Country-that-must-not-be-named was a tad silly by him. Interesting how posting links about a European country counts as derailing a thread about European politics but meh. And it got closed even before Slavyansk happened, lol at what mods would have thought about that thread during the later half of 2014 and early 2015. lol your sig

I'm one of the few people in those threads who don't even bring up ideology. You won't find any discussions of the normative from me - in terms of politics or economics. I'm purely interested in the practical consequences of the Greek crisis. Edit: I remember you. You tried to help him derail the thread because you didn't like the way I called him out. Frankly it was on everyone's mind I'm just one to say it. Again, if you notice when you first responded to me, you'll see that I only discussed the crisis in the context of practical consequences independent of ideology (I don't even possess any strong beliefs in either politics or economics.) I'll go so far as to say that I don't even mind if people bring up their strong briefs in that thread as long as it's truly relevant to the topic at hand - that was not the case with this guy. He used the Greek crisis purely as a vehicle to advertise his ideology.
And how do you analyze those "practical consequences"? What is the universe of action for you? Ideology is the stuff your mind swims in, not the label you put on yourself.

What are you talking about dude? The Greece crisis was very immediate and very real. If a Grexit had happened or if the standstill had been dragged out for longer things would get so bad in Greece humanitarian aid would be required. That's about as real as you can get. I spend my time in that thread largely asking others about the situation on the ground and reporting new developments as they broke whenever I could. Wtf is wrong with you?

Where did I say the Greece crisis wasn't real again?

I'm just glad you stopped posting to the European thread. Stick to the US one buddy and save us all from embarrassment.

You are delusional. I asked you serious questions and you respond with non sequiturs and say that I am the one who is deflecting.

"General" summed up in the last two pages of ABL.

Thanks, igne and coldfusion, now I remember why I never go into the politics threads.
