Assuming the moderator's powers on this forum are anything like mod powers on other forums I have seen, mods can see the history of a post, and what has been edited in/out. Theres no hiding it, if you post it the mods will see it.

This is correct. From what I've noticed, some mods will warn or ban for particularly vicious insults and slurs that were edited out, while others choose not to. I'm not sure why there's a discrepancy there, but I can only imagine that the first party warns/bans because of the sheer fact that malice was once present, while the other party accepts that if the user edits it out, they understand it was over the top and tried to correct their mistake.
I might be completely wrong, but I've seen both stances taken with different mods.

Programmatically it seems extremely unlikely anything was actually going on b/c your map location is the result of a particular computation not an intrinsic property of the map itself. The only thing that matters to the computation is the number of possible outcomes. Furthermore writing a program to select "random" start locations is so stupidly easy I seriously doubt Blizzard could screw it up.

Ahhh, this is the moment I learned I helped, in a small way, to make TL a better place.
Months ago this clown created a thread complaining about random players which was promptly locked. Hours later he posted the same complaints in someone else's thread. I PM'd a mod and he was temp-banned.
It was a small thing but I knew that one day "the p00n" would perm-banned and that one day would come sooner because of my PM.
To everyone else who helped - thankyou. Now we must contend with the 4 heads that, hydra like, have risen to take his place.
