thehitman was just temp banned for 2 days by heyoka.
That account was created on 2010-07-11 01:46:34 and had 560 posts.
Reason: "I don't believe anything that a USA government person will say, no matter if its a president, speaker, secretary, vice president, minister, chief, head of something, etc...
All USA do is lie and I would tryst my worst enemy more than any one from the US government or close to it."
Grow up. Knock it off with this bullshit.
I found it deliciously ironic that the ad banner on the page this ban appeared in was promoting a means of acquiring a degree in diplomacy. Perhaps a certain someone could make use of this proposal.

The ads actually try to seek out appropriate threads and there have been past examples of such. I'm not sure if that thread in question was about diplomacy but if it was it's not surprising. For example go to the aids thread

I'm aware of that function. I'm not saying it wasn't a product of the ad's relevancy-search thing, only that the result was amusing.

Okay, my 2 cents!
I've never been a fan of the general knee-jerk moderation a few mods do but I gotta say, Naz raping the LR thread was one of the best things done in recent times...
I love it that every single balance whine and progamer slur was temped with NO impunity. For anyone who thinks it was overdone, you just haven't spent any significant amount of time there imo.
It has gotten to the point where balance flamebaiting and trolling has reached such a fine art you dont even recognize it until 20 pages and a splitting headache later.

No.2) I also think people have to stop taking potshots, on this thread, at people who've been tempbanned and cant give any response. I think its a cheap way of getting your own back. There's no need to usually say -"I'm glad he got banned." "he was so mean to me" zzzz..

I've actually seen this happen before too! I don't remember which thread it was, but it showed up at the top of the "Closed Threads" section. I'm glad someone else has seen such a mysterious occurrence also.
