Honestly I'm quite disappointed that teamliquid is being this soft with that guy. This is not a case of someone saying "he" because they don't know scarlet's gender. If someone had posted the "b o y s" meme about a male player, nobody would have commented "polt's a boy too". The fact that he said that shows that he had 100% malicious intent. He did that to needle her; what he did reminds me of all the hateful people I've encountered who insist that a gay relationship "just isn't quite as special" as a straight one. "But a marriage is between a man and a woman. That's just how it is". "You're not quite as good as a real woman" is what this guy was saying. And he knows that his comment says that. I can almost see the smirk on his face as he typed that. He feels like such a big man, taking shots at a celebrity who is 1000x better at the game he loves than he'll ever be in his wildest dreams.
I know that moderation has gotten much more lenient in the past few years, and in general I think that's good. But not with that guy. We as a community need to come down hard on these people and make it 100% clear that this hateful bullshit is not welcome anywhere near our community.

I gotta agree with this. Nothing against the The_Templar but if you're banning someone because he maphacks, at least have 2-3 people look through the replay and come to the same conclusion. It's why trials don't have one jury member make the final decision lol.

i care very little whether or not that dude is a hacker. maybe i will watch it next week, internet is to shitty right now to download.
what i actually care about is the process which TL uses to detect and ban hackers. and i think that there are better ways than just one causal player deciding.
just for the record, my post was mainly joking in response to the joking ban reason of kadaver. i didnt meant to attack templar.
