IdrA was just temp banned for 2 days by Manifesto7. That account was created on 2004-07-31 20:59:50 and had 10904 posts. If anything though I think it should be EvilGamers going to IdrA and telling him to watch his mouth (or fingers in this case?). I know if I was a team coach I wouldn't be okay with any players under me acting like that in a forum. | ||

IdrA has made invaluable contributions to the strategy forum and his opinions on the state of the game are great to read whenever he actually feels like explaining his thought process. If only he was able to keep out all the vomit inducing bm and bannable content from his posts I feel like he would be considered one of the bigger contributors. | ||

But leeway stretched beyond a certain point just becomes lawless. Some leeway is fine, but having plenty of temp bans in your history, calling someone retarded, and then getting a 2-day ban doesn't entirely sit right with me. Not saying this is actually "lawless", just that it bugs me. And I definitely understand that he does contribute greatly to the whole community when he chooses to be productive with his posts/comments. When he has those kinds of constructive moments, I have a lot of respect for him. But when he comes in and acts like an entitled rager, or holding a grudge (if Husky's comment is to be believed) I lose much of that respect. | ||

Maybe it peeves you that he might get too much leeway and thats ok but exactly how much leeway he gets is a subjective quantity[lol mental block on the right word to use here =/] decided upon by the mods. | ||

Also, when he used to post in political/religious topics, IdrA was pretty good. He'd definitely flame less than other people. He was also pretty good in the BW Strategy section. Even without being a top pro gamer, IdrA has contributed a lot, in between the stupid flames. | ||
