What a commission could do, is figure out what happened, and make recommendations for what people can do, and what legal changes could be made.
And George Zimmerman pretty clearly is culpable in some broad sense, that's why there was already a civil settlement reached between martin's family and GZ/homeowner's group., the question is of what, and how serious is it (probably not very). A commission could help answer that.

Of course, that doesn't change the facts of the case. There is no evidence that indicates that Zimmerman is overtly 'racist' or had murderous intent.
Maybe Trayvon was a victim of systemic racism that we're all subject to. Maybe Trayvon is being unfairly characterized as a criminal when really, he's probably just a dumb kid wrapped up in hip hop kitsch. I bring this kind of stuff up in the thread because it's topical — the case would be of zero interest to anyone if it wasn't infused with race politics.
But I'd like to think I'm still pretty respectful of the other posters. And I don't take any resentment I have towards the world out on them (I hope).

This is like his 3rd ban that I remember recently. Was a mixture of player bashing and balance whining for the other ones. I feel like that post is just as bad as anything in the general category of balance whining, player/caster bashing. It's essentially game bashing. D:
You're right that it seems to usually not be moderated as strongly though, in general.

It's always confused me. I don't get why people would spend their free time doing something they A) don't like and B) aren't forced to do by anyone else.
Also, on the subject of bans, how long does barrin have left on his ban? The dude went kind of haywire in the Ask TL Staff thread what seems like a while back, and while I don't know why his banling status was taken away, I do know the moderation staff gave him some time off to cool down. Does anyone know if he is gonna come back? I liked his sc2 map work  .
