Was he the guy that used to quote passages of the Bible in response to posts without any commentary?

I kinda want to agree, but then I'm of the opinion that unless he causes some 'proper' trouble, then even overly biased religious posting is 1000x more tolerable than some of the idiots that post and get banned on a daily basis.
After all, though TL is a very closed shop when it comes to religious debate (as it should be, it's not the place for that shit), if someone can chill a bit and post without going too far, then meh leave them be imo.
If others cannot see it that way too, and want to engage in stupid debates, then they will likely suffer the bans, before this dude will.

Some times I wonder if there are genuinely people who are this mentally disoriented to make posts like that or if it's all an elaborate conspiracy to convince us that the human race is beyond saving.

I feel a bit ashamed to have contributed to that ban but to be honest he was so easy.

'Drivel' is subjective. I think he kind of had some points there even if his writing was a bit all over the place. I've seen some featured bloggers on this website put up blogs that were worse (and more self-indulgent) than that. On the other hand he deserves the ban for not putting any breaks in that paragraph.

Can we add, "Thou shalt use page breaks," to the TL 10 commandments?

Was it a blog post? I can't tell since it's been moved to closed. I assumed it was posted somewhere weird like general.

I've seen probably dozens if not hundreds of far worse pseudo-intellectual blogs so far... this one didn't even seem so bad.
