Show nested quote +grunge was just temp banned for 2 days by KadaverBB. That account was created on 2010-05-14 12:18:18 and had 4 posts. Reason: Match fixing is a very serious accusation. Please don't make it lightly and certainly not without evidence. I'm going to get some flack for this but I want you to consider this open mindedly; I'm quite sure that DRG threw the game to Bogus on purpose. Are there any guide-lines for the ban lengths for different offences? Grunge got a 2-day temp for accusations of match-fixing, and that is the same as the people who got banned for balance-whining so I was wondering if there is an informal scale for ban-lengths based on the offence (before taking into account the poster's history). It mostly depends on history but also to the severity of the violation, eg. Emzeeshady's ban which has a nice explanation in the ban reason as well: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=17736410

On second though I guess it does since the threads he responded to (FOREX and D3 Gold trading) were over 3 months old. Even so, something feels a bit off here. Also good to see that Emzee got what was coming to him. It definitely seems like advertising, what I can't figure out is why endy posted the same thing three years before and then edited it for a typo... We mustn't let this fade from view, something lurks beneath.

Maybe the bot hunts for text with links and then reposts the text with different link? but then why no smiley and no "edit: typo"

No, I shudder to think actually who Steven Smith might be. I have images of some dissident prisoner locked away without trial forced to advertise market trading websites for a reduction in his indefinite detention....

Worth noting that the guy who was accusing match fixing wasn't being a giant dick in the way he said it, and it's a first offense. Unless you're a consistent jerk who's been slipping under the radar, your first offense isn't likely to be very long. This guy is new, but didn't really make any other offensive posts yet. If his offense had been less grave than a match-fixing accusation, he probably would have only been warned. Prior history (even just what you say even if you're not warned for it) has a big weight on sentencing. (heck, it's even written in the commandments as such.)

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=397554 Well, it's the guy that got permed posting his map yet again. I know he's a PBU but I think its a pretty decent map. And the thread boasts it may even be added to iCCup. Honestly, I think it would be quite a good thread for the BW General forum. I don't know what exactly he did (curious...) but it seems like he only wants to get his map out there on his new account(s). Maybe allow it to live?

I think his first map was criticized and he got mad or something? I don't really remember.

o0o0o0o0o was just banned by Falling.
That account was created on 2013-02-05 03:40:12 and had 2 posts.
Reason: PBU
I messaged KadaverBB asking if he was going to ban him and he got sufficiently distracted so that he got ninja'd. Oops.
