Indeed an in-form FlaSh is nothing short of terrifying, if you're on the wrong side of the map / stage / liquibet. :3

I think it is a fair comparison to make especially in a community like TL where there is that 4% in so many threads that have known each other for so long.
BerkmanZ's account is older than mine and somehow he hasn't figured out basic courtesies when he was trying to foster discussion that has been had and closed several times over. I think the chiding, specifically in the ultralisk thread, was fairly standard thoroughfare, but when he made the "Dear TL...why?" (pity party) thread about his one warning and closed thread, that he opened himself up.
Learning through experience, we'll have to see what his next post is like assuming he even makes one. Personally I am surprised GMarshall didn't tag him with at least a temp. A post I made in the TL Mafia banlist applies here. I'm just going to quote myself On January 25 2013 06:00 GMarshal wrote: Something a lot of people on tl seem to miss (I've noticed it both here and in the ABL, notably), is the virtue of compassion. Whenever someone gives a two day ban, or just a warning, someone seems to feel like it's "not enough", and they miss the point of the action entirely. Many times much more is achieved by compassion than by crushing the offender under your heel. With mercy, you create good feelings and turn bad behaviors into constructive ones, while by not staying your hand, you instead create further resentment. That is not to say that there aren't times when the fullest punishment is called for, but I feel that it is wisest to err on the side of mercy, there is always time to ban someone, but the hate created by banning rarely heals. But we in the ABL prefer harsh punishments, because this is the reality TV of the internet, and drama is king!
Actually no, I much prefer seeing lower ban times here. That way, idiots get to come back to spout idiocy. Harsh punishments deny us repeat bans.

I remember all my bans and all I can say that I am really aggravated regarding all of them.
Really unnecessary and I wasnt really deserving it IMO.

Except when their name is StateofReverie and they constantly clutter up the Blogs section with mountains of incoherent drivel...
