There's probably a massive note on my account that says "IF THIS FUCKING GUY SWATS AT A FLY WE NUKE HIM." Maybe a mod can confirm this for me. You can interpret that as a terrible history if you like, I don't though.

Is there a way to find out in which thread people get banned? Automated Ban List thread doesn't give where the ban comes from. Whenever I see an interesting ban reason, I want to find the thread to get the context, but it takes some effort to find it. Why not list the thread as well as reason so that we know what mistakes we should avoid?

Main reason is that the person doing the banning is 'lazy' but here is a nice way to find out a user's bans etc.

If you don't want to wait then you are back to looking up all posts and reading all the recent ones. Mis-spelling a user name can give screwy results. So as an example: I open up a new tab in Firefox/Chrome I paste http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/search.php?q=[b][red]User was banned for this post&t=c&f=-1&u=USERNAMEHERE&gb=date&d= into the address bar I replace USERNAMEHERE with TheToast The results come up. The most recent entry on the ABL is his page 1000 ban, the rest are quotes of other bans. I hope this helps your time here on the ABL.
Remember that it takes about 2 hours for the search to index so it might take you up to 2 hours until you find the post someone was banned for.

So after some thinking I figured maybe if I put in the tag "permission=on" in URL (Plus a bunch of other numbers and letters that I thought would be appropriate based off other information that I found) then I would be able to view it. I don't know if it worked . . . because I can no longer access TL from my home connection. It kicked me out as soon typed the URL in.
