So I did the unthinkable and asked people who know the situation better than those of us in here, and it seems that roffels may be a jerk in the tlms community, but he is their jerk, kind of like how we all defend daphreak and jinglehell when other people go after them. So although he made a atrocious post, its not really a problem for the people in tlms.

lol. that certainly does puts some perspective on it. i assumed OP was the thread OP, not OpShot. it does beg the question though, why was roffles banned for posts in that thread if its part of the thread culture, and why was kiett getting bent out of shape when he referred to the players as shitties? there seems to be more to this story than is being shown.
for my research, i only looked at like the last five pages of the thread to see what led up to the ban. i certainly didn't read back to November 2010..... if you (metaphorically) feel its misrepresented, put some context in it, dont come in and say dont talk about our thread--its counter-productive.

No one is coming here to derail it. They came in here to defend someone that they feel was being unjustly blamed/banned. This thread was always about discussing bans, no? At least that's how I read it when I used to frequent it. If so, then why are you suddenly so defensive about people coming in disputing a decision and saying that some people are just full of shit when they, as Kamille puts it clearly, are indeed full of shit?
If people make bullshit accusations/generalizations, they should know that they can get called out for said assumptions/generalizations about people that they don't really know about.

we dont decide what posts get banned. we only find them with our diligent little hands, quote the offending post and related posts, and laugh at them. kamille added context, which was appreciated, kesrith told us (specifically, me) not to discuss it, which was stupid because this is the "discuss the ban" thread.
oh, by the way, it was likely a TLMSer who reported the post(s) that got roffle banned so so much for that ....

Ok complaints about bans go to website feed back, staff normally comes in and tells us that, but i'll say it anyways "this is not the place to complain about bans, take it too website feedback"
