About damn time. The problem was not just in the Dota 2 section, wherever he popped up on this forum he always talked out of his ass no matter how wrong he was and no matter how many times he got corrected.

Finally we get a week of peace and actual discussion in the general dota2 thread. Hopefully he'll be a bit less stubborn and loud when he comes back. It was really annoying to see most discussion of which items or item orders were best deteriorate into shikyo naming some of the most useless items possible and then starting a 10 page argument over it.

I like Shikyo. He's one of the like 6 people in the Tech Support forum you can trust to actually provide correct information consistently.

Shikyo recently decided to switch to Dota2 from LoL, and starts thinking that he knows all about the game and is trying to reinvent the meta. He made not one, but several really sketchy suggestions that were shut down by everyone in the Dota2 general discussion thread, but he still persisted in arguing his point for the next 10 pages (for each suggestion, mind you). The best part is that for his latest suggestion that ultimately got him banned, he didn't even do that in practice.
Shikyo may be knowledgeable in tech support, but is completely clueless about Dota2.

Why did this get a ban? In my opinion its just a reinforcement of what I thought was a mistaken belief; that TL was banning people who went against the admins/moderators. I usually don't disagree with bans but to me this shouldn't have gotten more of a warning, and in my respectful opinion it wasn't Waxangel's right decision to temp ban him without at least discussing it, especially since it concerned him(thus bias).
