when you say "we're" you mean "you" because my post was about moderating destiny's actions on twitter and how there was precedent for it.

This is the Automated Ban List thread, though you could be forgiven for not being able to easily deduce that sometimes. There's a thread dedicated to discussion of the Destiny episode in Website Feedback, and if you don't think that's a good place to address intrigue's behavior, you can make your own feedback thread. But this isn't the place to talk about it, because it is not lighthearted discussion of the follies of those who are graced by the gentle touch of the TL Banhammer, and is also not a toast pun, and thus not on topic in this thread.

The best example of mods (or ex-mods) getting leniency would be rekrul. That's just what he said in that thread. I'm sure there are plenty of examples where he does pretty much whatever he wants.

Ahh. A beautiful sun rises this glorious morning, over Eidsvoll Verk in Norway. I get out of bed and immediately do a happy little dance, because I somehow just know this day will be a good day. Then I remember the big destiny thread, and how awful it was, and suddenly it seems that the beautiful weather changes mood, and with it changes mine. I wish I could retract my previous happy dance.
But oh well, I let out a sigh and I continue on with my day.
I check Destiny's twitter, just to see if he's got any more humorously one-sided observations on the matter.

On a serious note, though, considering the way he acted? Honestly I don't think he has any place in this community at the moment. It was straight up frustrating reading most of what he said in yesterday's debacle, and I do get a sense of (misplaced, perhaps) justice that he was dealt with.

After the 7th generation of the ABL got banned en masse, motbob inofficially decided to rename this thread the "TL General Discussion", giving it free for next generation. And still, there are tiny voices of the older guards, complaining about the youth and their ignorance, digging out some of the gems that made entertained them in the good old times, when the ABL still was used as it was intended by it's creator. But today's children, ignorant of bread buns, need fast entertainment, scandals, voyeurism, jumping from Destiny to Idra back to Destiny, leaving the ABL veterans in the dust. Will there be reconciliation between the old and the new, the crusty and the fresh? Oh, a hamster.

So?There is a option under streams that lets you follow players and their streams when they are on.As far as I know it isn't affected by him being featured or not.So anyone that was regularly watching destiny is still watching.
Hes hardly going to loose a lot of viewers over this.
