Welcome everyone to Season 4 of the TL Community Member Awesomeness Tournament!

Rules:
This is a popularity contest, so the community will be voting. All voting will be done through TL Polls, because TL is #1 and everyone freaking knows it.

NOTE: As the supervisor of this tournament my word is final. If you have a problem with that then click on the spoiler to see what your options are.

Nomination Rules:
All participants must be nominated into the tournament. Let's get some awesome nominations going for the people who do something for the esports community and deserve to be recognized!

As this is a community event, we will be excluding pro gamers, casters, and famous esports personalities from GOM/SPOTV/IEM/DH/Blizzard, etc. etc.

As a form of seeding, some community members need less nominations in order to join the main tournament:

Forum Users (basically everyone else) - 6 Nominations

Each user can only nominate a maximum of 5 people. If you nominate more than that I won't count it/them.

This thread will serve as the Nomination Thread. Nominations will end exactly 1 week later. The first 64 to get nominated into the tournament are in. If we don't get to 64, then we will have a reduced number of participants for the first round.

Format:
The tournament will follow GSL format but there will be three group stages instead of two. The Ro8 and onward will be knockout rounds.

Ro64 – GSL Style Groups

Ro16 – GSL Style Groups
Ro8 – Single Elimination
Ro4 – Single Elimination
Finals / Third Place Match – Single Elimination

*Group Selections:
Just like GSL, I will make a Group Selections thread for ONLY the Ro16 of the tournament. The thread will show the order of how people are supposed to select a person of their choice. All other rounds will be done through randomization.

Reason: LATAM SC2 biggest fan, writer, and someone who spends a lot of time here if the over 7 thousands post are accurate.

Reason: While a newer member to the BW staff, John has been excellent in fitting in and giving his all in making articles and casts. His work ethic shows in his casting and he has rapidly improved from his first duo with me in ASL3 after Bisudagger left to becoming almost a seasoned caster.

I wrote a lot because I am tired.

##Second: FO-nTTaX
Reason: FO-nTTaX is friendly and helpful. He is always willing to explain code things to people who have no idea what they're doing (e.g. me). His assistance has brought me out of many wiki-related states of distress, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Supporting anecdote: I was struggling to turn a 32 DE Bracket into 64 DE Bracket. I spent two days trying to figure out how to solve a specific issue. I asked him about it and it took him about three minutes to figure it out and fix it. That was pretty impressive.
Examples of Works: Liquipedia in general

##Second: salle
Reason: Despite seemingly being the proverbial punching bag of the wiki (#blamesalle), he is always friendly and willing to help. He is constantly looking for ways to help Liquipedia become even better, and has been encouraging of those with (perhaps naive) enthusiasm towards things like a Liquipedia podcast or a Liquipedia merch shop. He is also very respectful of other people. Not only that, but he provides the best stats, and everyone loves stats!

##Second: razarza
Reason: Well firstly, #straya. Secondly, he always seems to be prompt in directing traffic on the discord and is proactive in assisting people with their enquiries. He also advocated for me getting to make a decision about the WoW wiki one time, which I appreciated.

Reason: There's a reason I check the LoL wiki when I need to motivate myself. The LoL wiki started at the same time that the WoW wiki did and although it does have more contributors, TempIrius seems to be the main one responsible for boosting its progress ahead of the WoW wiki. He does a truly impressive amount of work.

Reason: The WoW wiki was his idea and he managed to get the ball rolling on it despite us not getting adequate sign-ups. I know it's weird that it's had such an impact (without knowing me well, anyway) but I cannot fully articulate what the WoW wiki has meant for my life. I'm not generally comfortable talking about feelings and stuff, but I will say that contributing to the wiki has helped me insurmountably. These days I'm doing so many things I never thought I could do, and definitely wouldn't be doing if Dmachine hadn't had the idea to get the wiki started. Other than being the one who rallied the troops, he has been a huge supporter of the WoW wiki on social media, posting links on reddit and twitter frequently. His support has really helped the wiki move forward and I'm so grateful for all of that. I guess this is more of a personal one, but that's not against the rules!

Reason: He has worked on pages on the WoW wiki despite not playing the game, which is very kind. I think it's very much in the spirit of Liquipedia.

Reason: Top memer. Memes are a crucial part of esports. Is overall good value in the Discord.

Reason: Spazer is always eager to help, and people like this make editing the wiki seem less daunting to new people. He often helps people with template issues and general questions. I always appreciate that help, because I am still completely lost most of the time.
