Even as technology advanced, the time zone difference made it impractical to watch live for all but the most dedicated fans. But with the SC2 boom, there are plenty of NA and EU events in appropriate time zones. Although many fans still use VODs, live viewing is now the norm. Professional StarCraft 2 resembles live, mainstream sports for most of its fans, and we believe it's finally time to provide fast, up to date coverage on events as they unfold. But doesn't the GSL still have the same time zone problem you said was the reason for the spoiler policy in broodwar? Are you sure that live viewing is the norm for the GSL and that spoilers for that one specifically are fine now? | ||
