... about that ...
Yes, someone plans to do it. But it's sort of unclear as to who (since as mentioned a few pages ago, Wax/Fionn are already writing their butts hands? off.)

I've just got my first warning today and noticed the cute little closing line: "(Do not reply to this message. No one will receive it.)" just after a, "thank you for your cooperation." It could be taken at face value as a neutral information but I don't think anybody receiving or giving a warning (due to the emotions involved) would take it like that. So here's question: is that line really meant at face value or is it meant as an insult? This is a serious question, not a rage question.
I'm sorry, maybe I'm a little slow on the uptake, but could you explain how that could be taken as an insult?
I'm not sure whether this is a question staff has to answer (>___<), but since it seems like you're asking him and he may or may not read this thread anytime soon, I've briefly had the same idea and think I could give you a general answer.
His thought probably isn't that "no one will read this" = an insult per se, but more that the line indicates that nobody will take out the time to read it. i.e. you're banned and don't bother replying this message, because we're not going to listen to you. Of course, it really means that the bot doesn't normally reply to users as mentioned and that they should PM the mod who took the action against the user.
EDIT: Thank you for the explanations, SirJolt, Salle and ]343[ . Perhaps I was misled by some situational impressions or a little cultural difference. Basically, most such messages I've seen from "donotreply" accounts are framed with a bit more active effort to be somewhat friendly/polite. Since Aerisky wrapped it in a spoiler tag, I'll just say yeah, that's the impression I was talking about. Since most bot accounts can be logged into by an admin or some other person with a password, be set to redirect incoming messages or something along these lines, the "nobody will receive it" seemed to imply a choice not to receive communication from the warned user about the warning. As opposed to e.g., "This is an automatically generated message, please do not reply to it. If you want, you can contact the moderator who issued the warning via PM or..." etc.
Have you ever felt bad about perma banning someone? As in not that it was wrong but just feeling,I don't know, maybe disappointment or something like that because the user was your friend,a vet, someone that was destined for greatness in your eyes but miserably failed.

Friend -- Some other mod would ban your friend so that you wouldn't have to. Vet -- if a vet is getting banned, the mod doing the banning is usually REALLY happy to be doing it Destined for greatness -- if they were destined for greatness they wouldn't be getting banned
ugh guess that makes sense>_> Didn't really think it through. I just thought that maybe there was a scene in TL history similar to the (apart from huk selling out to eg ofc huehue)
I've been looking around the forums for hours now, I'm quite fascinated by all the history there seems to be behind this site. My question is, which of the staff is the most famous on this site?

What's your guys' typing WPM? I know a lot of people who spend time on forums tend to get really fast typing speeds, and most mods have perfect grammar/spelling to boot, so that's nice. By the way.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but who's got the highest kill count of the mods/staff? I'm reading through the Automated Ban List and I noticed Hot_Bid padded his stats a bit during the beta key days with the "Bet a Two-Week Ban for a Beta Key" contest, and it got me wondering.
I'm just imagining the mods meeting after a purge and saying stuff like, "Final count, 42." Or, "You banned so-and-so and all his accounts? That still only counts as one!" It's probably wrong that I find that so amusing.

haha I would be interested in an updated list as well of the number of bans handed out by each person :D
I imagine it's LotR style slapstick, i.e. counting off their bans.
Hey i'm doing a Teach a sc2 pro how to cook show called video game dinner theater on my twitch channel but I'm not really sure where I can post information about it.
