Hey there!
Introduction
I have created a Chrome extension to give a more pleasing experience during the night to eyes of gamers who visit teamliquid.net.
The idea sprung up when I got pretty much flashed by the bright design when alt-tabbing from Starcraft while sitting in a pitch-black room.
This project has undergone extensive changes since the beginning which has brought both good and bad news.
Good news: easier to manage for me and a more secure and stable experience for the end-user.
Bad news: the theme will only be available for Chrome until I have ported the extension to Firefox & Opera (something I am planning to do.)
This means that the userscript on userscripts.org will be discontinued.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to loyal users who enjoyed the past userscripts.

This is actually kind of a repost of my Blog Post with the exact same content, I don't feel that it has been seen by the community in the way I think it deserves. Not a surprise as alot of people probably don't read the blogs. Enjoy!

Introduction
I've been creating a greasemonkey script which restyles the teamliquid site to a more "dark room friendly" style. I got the idea when I got pretty much flashed by the bright design while sitting in my pitch-black room.
If you have suggestions for additional features that you are missing, feel free to let me know.

Installing the Script
Link to the Greasemonkey script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/103604.user.js
Mozilla Firefox Users: you need the Greasemonkey plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/
Chrome Users: In Chrome v22, it is no longer possible to install userscripts if they aren't on Chrome Store without the use of an extension, so- install the Tampermonkey extension and then install the userscript with Tampermonkey. [thanks madestro for the research].
If you're still below v22, you can just click the top link, and accept to install the script.

Internet Explorer Users: you'll need to check out this link first: http://www.ghacks.net/2008/11/16/install-greasemonkey-scripts-in-internet-explorer/ If you got it to work for Internet Explorer, please let me know!

What browser do you use?
Mozilla Firefox: Tools > Addons > User Scripts > Inactivate or Remove the TeamLiquid Dark Theme.
Google Chrome: Tools > Extensions > Uninstall or Disable the TeamLiquid Dark Theme.
Opera: Remove the script from your Opera script folder.
Some of the options may be named differently, I use a swedish Mozilla Firefox.
I hope that helped you out. Feel free to message me again if you have any problems regarding the script.
Compability
The script is tested and works with Chrome and Firefox.
Opera is experimental. Internet Explorer is not tested.
F.A.Q
- Why does it take a few seconds on every pageload for the script to apply the styling?
Because browsers have decided that userscripts can't execute before the page is loaded.
Work-around for the flicker:

- A message which says "Imagehost is offline" appears and the site doesn't get restyled
This is an error message I placed to prevent the site from breaking when my computer a.k.a. the host of all dark pictures gets turned off. Because I don't have a dedicated host, this will happen. Worry not, and post not, because the host will be online up to a week later.
