Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

I don't quite understand why this guy has been warned and banned but i'll happily heard any explanation. If my post looks ironical, it is not, i don't quite control my word well as i am not a native speaker. He was banned not for disagreeing with us, but for not following the site rules with his "inb4 warning" comment.

Its for martyring, aka "im going to get warned for this" or "im going to get banned for this".

That being said I still think Idra is the best non-Korean SC2 player and probably BW player. His analysis and grasp on the game is just insane. If you let Idra scout anything you have, you basically lose because he knows everything you're going to do. I hope he does decide to not hold a grudge and continue to stream with commentary. I've learned so much just from the 2-3 days that hes done that.

If my post looks ironical, it is not, i don't quite control my word well as i am not a native speaker. Well, for one, there's a policy about martyring, c'est-à-dire saying in your post "I'll probably get warned/banned for this". I think it's in the ten commandments as well, and it has always been like this. And secondly, you can disagree with stuff all you want, but bringing obviously flawed/stupid arguments doesn't help your case. All the reasons for bans (not warnings) can be seen in the ABL by the way. His post is here.

If my post looks ironical, it is not, i don't quite control my word well as i am not a native speaker. If you say "I'm probably going to get banned/warned for this..." or like his "inb4 warning" Moderators will view it as a ban request at treat it as such. In the ban list sometimes you see the reason as 'by request' and that's usually because they wrote 'ban me I don't care' or similar. So you can disagree, just don't be stupid about how you do it. Make it logical.

As far as I care if you use common sense and post you won't get banned. I've done that before iirc. But the thing is, a post with 'common sense' means different things to different people. I've seen posts here that people get banned for that I personally wouldn't think warranted a ban at all. It's subjective, that's all I'm saying. Am I saying that it's all TL's fault? No, not at all. Do I think people should use common sense when they post? Of course. There just is not an objective, set-in-stone ruleset that governs this site, and to me personally, I see that as a problem.

See, Team Liquid didn't post that in the notes they made about why he was banned. They just said he was banned, and everyone who came in a moment too late figured it was what he said on Twitter/Justin.

TL has a very simple policy about martyrs. If they think the moderators will ban them for their comments, the mods will ban them for their comments. It's that simple. If you think the mods will ban you for saying something, why even say it?
