MAJOR CHANGE!!!
Turns out cybercraft is short on computers
Format of the tournament will be two rounds of 32 at the start Meaning there will be two people assigned to each computer
Brackets, seating chart and other shit will be released in the morning of the event around 2am so when you get to cybercraft just look for the links to the stuff in the original post or reminders post
Top half of the brackets will be played followed by the second half for the round of 64 (first round)
If both players assigned to one computer arrive early, please give priority to the player that is higher up in the brackets because he will be playing first
Due to this change, expect both days to be fairly long, and its going to be extremely crowded with 32 people standing around on the first day DO NOT bring random bulky backpacks or luggage (lol), only the essentials
More information will be given when we get closer to the event

Really now. Imma stop by tonight to check things out. Can't we have 60-something people play at once, and then the people who finish first switch out to accommodate the extras?
How low are we on computers and most importantly, why're you making this huge change without telling me D:<

Why's he only letting us reserve 34? Even it's for an hour, it would make things run a lot faster PLUS it guarantees them customers for that one hour. This must be re-settled.
I also told John how many people we would be having for a week now and he hadn't said anything. Gosh.

sooooo, instead of having 64 players all going at once your going to have one set of 32 then the other?
Makes sense, that how the brackets turn out anyway..... Gonna be a bitch with the inclusion of Loser's bracket though....

What stops the rest of the people from just showing up as regular customers and paying for time on computers? This really dosn't make sense. I could see not RESERVING them all but after that it's first come first serve right? So if you are there, ready, and have a computer, then you can play your match.

That's assuming that people get here early, which only a handful do. This IS a 24 hour netcafe after all. It just means that we kick people out who are already there.

I'm just saying that even though the computers might not be reserved, if enough of us get there early enough we would be the first on the computers... maybe some wouldn't make it and have to wait but this way we might be able to get some of the matches under way.
Edit: Another thought, perhaps it might be possible to let those know who would be going in the later half of the day so that they don't have to show up so early? I guess this would cause a lot of check in problems.... Ehhhhhhhhhh.
This is gonna be a loooooonnngg day.

Reborn Hacks... I dont trust him, so I Veto this decision....
However it would be nice to not have to pay an additional 20+$ just to compete...

That hurts man. That hurts.

Everytime I play you and try and decide if I should go DT you magically make an overseer early on without even scouting.....

I know details are still being worked out, but my $.02:
A lot of people bring their own mice/keyboards, and have different settings for mouse sensitivity, mouse scroll, etc., so for computer sharing, it'd be preferable (I think) to have Player A play a few games, then have Player B play a few games, as opposed to alternating after every single match (i.e. Player A > Player B > Player A > Player B etc.).
Maybe others disagree, but I'd rather hang for a couple of hours watching casted matches, and then play for a couple hours, just to minimize the number of times I have to switch out my equipment and fiddle with my settings until they're close to what I'm used to.
Then again I'm a little anal about such things.

lol i like how u typed two cents
I completely agree with the settings thing, I'm exactly the same way and I cannot play right without my personal settings
It is why I'd prefer to have as many computers as possible, If we cannot get all the computers I'll take your idea into consideration
