I make special name tags so everyone becomes approachable :D
Would you like something cool on your name tag (i.e. the entire text of War and Peace)?

And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti
Don't even need my name. Just all of that! Or i'll think of something lame and stupid...Like "lame and stupid"

I don't know anyone here. I'm sure the LAN will still be a blast though. We can be new doods together.

You should not have to be forced to talk to your fellow nerds if you REALLY don't want to, but idk why you wouldnt

I would absolutely love to have 69 people introduce themselves one by one on the microphone. Not even kidding. I'll try convincing Certified when he's in a good mood :D

Real life name, forum name, one interesting thing about yourself. Boom, 10 second intro.

I think it would be more interesting if everyone told their life story

Some people might not want to share their real name
i would like to kno everyone's forum names just so theres another form of contact problem is not everyone is on the forums, and some are just lurkers

What's the point of going to a lan then?

Me and my friend are first timers there too. Hopefully everyone is as friendly IRL as it seems in this thread.

doesnt look like theres that many back up players atm, should i try signing up?

So the farther you get in the tournament the more money you have to pay to the net cafe? I guess if you win it will cancel it out. But really sounds like fun do you know if there is a train station nearby i would want go to a future event, to long to drive but train is manageable.

Yes. There are always people flaking out and not showing up.

The amount of money you need will be roughly $25 ($20 for a membership with 4 hours on the computers, and $5 for getting in). It's a bit expensive for most people but it's so much fun it's totally worth it. The 7 goes about 2 blocks before CyberCraft so it's not far a walk; so if you can get to a subway in NYC you can get CyberCraft.

I strongly advise getting membership, it will start saving you money by the second time you go.

I got a membership there my second time around and my only regret was not getting it the first time. It's well worth it if you ever plan on coming back which you will!
