You don't think people would spam Chill Get Out in the LR?

How much do these guys pay you for the adverts? Is there much of a niche for that kinda thing on TL?

That's a google ad. I believe it changes depending on what you are viewing.

You always have to ask yourself, "What places have I been to on the internet that makes Google think I want to know about Mature Singles?"

I ask myself how much does TL earn from THAT particular advert.

Which one of the mods looks like a bitch?

What constitutes a blog and what constitutes general quality threads?
I've seen some pretty bad threads pass in general. Do general threads just not have to be personal? Would my last blog have better been placed in general? General seems to be rather boring lately and I want to spice it up, but I'm afraid to get the dreaded "moved to blogs" post.

Blogs is personal, if it happens purely to you and it is anecdotal, then it is most likely a blog. General threads usually revolve around discussable matters ranging from political to sociological to even psychological (as long as it's not about religion).
A good idea to figure if you are blog or general is to ask yourself: are you recounting something that happened to you and are looking for feedback or is this a general problem to which you'd like opinions upon.
While personal issues can become social problems, the reverse is likely, but not worthy of a topic.
Hm... maybe that last line doesn't quite work. Anyways, I didn't see anyone answer this, so I figure I'd chime in and give it my personal opinion or understanding.

Our lord and master his manliness comes and goes... like the wind oooh. I guess meat is no longer around? Or at least hiding. Anyway, would be interesting to know. Edit: ooh bloo goo in 2008 i posted this going away thread (to leave TL because of law school), receive all these well wishes and nice comments from the rest of staff, only to run TSL2 and end up working for the site full time scumbag hotbid indeed
Ok this thread moves really quickly...
Poor HB, tried to excape TL and it sucked you back in. Oh well surely slaving away for your TL overlords is better than being a fancy highly paid lawyer? At least TL bosses have massive tools...

I looked it up and could not find if a TL user was doing bm and openly wrong things in a game than can't they be moderated on TL because of there immaturity and bad behavior within a game with other members of the site? I ask because this guy that maybe is a member here is team killing everyone every time he's on the new TL server for Counter Strike Source and he's yet to be moderated there because a mod hasn't been on while he's doing it and he changes his nickname every time he comes on to do it.
He's also using spray while on Source and his picture is of an actual totally nude (front shot) of a rather large guy and just cusses people out and uses racial slurs. I believe he must be a TL member because there's few other ways or reasons for him to have the IP to the TL CS:S Red Server. I apologize if I overlooked this while searching.

Are you saying he's cheating/hacking on CS: S?
It's not unusual for staff to ban someone for being rude or a problem outside of the site (either on B.Net or due to in-person problems).
I'd privately message an admin about this to be honest.

No Torte de Lini he is just team killing everyone on his side at the very start of a match and cussing/using racial slurs while using the spray paint function to show off nude pictures of an obese man (strange situation lol). But its making people not come on the server and yet he hasn't done this yet while an admin is on so he hasn't been IP banned yet. I was just wondering if (when we find out his IP and actual steam ID) an admin would ban him on TL or warn him or something to keep him from doing such things again. Just seems like something he should be punished for here since I've heard that at one time a TL member did something to another member at a live event or something like that and he was punished on here for it. Like a "respect fellow TL members even while outside of the site" type of thing but I couldn't find the thread/story about it so I asked here. (sorry so long :/ )

as Torte said PM a mod for this is pobably the best way to go about it. Chill is probably your best bet. He has already a few awesome "I know what you did last Summer" bans under his belt. He is such a do-gooder.
edit: Ask him to do it for E-sports. + Show Spoiler +

But then again, the CSS server isn't an official TL server. IMO record a demo and give it to the server admin.

I don't know. The TL Server is a project from the community, if one of the community members is being an asshole, why would we want him on the server or on the site?
Shrug, that's my two cents.

For threads that get turned into 'Community News and Headlines," are the Facebook, Twitter, and, Reddit links automatically added by some kind of wizard magic when they put on the front page or they added by hand? When did this start?
I just started noticing those links at the bottom right of the OP and found it kind of a cool addition that I never noticed before.
