There's no counter (at least not on the front end), but it'd be a useful feature. It's pretty rare that we get a bad report—usually the ones we don't take action on are at least somewhat close questions. Mods are not annoyed to have to deal with reports in the grey area; the report function is a hugely useful tool for us even considering the occasional false report.
And also: a lot of reports we don't act on are still useful, because they might let us know about a pattern of posting or at least direct us to a "trouble" thread.
I'd rather the report function be overused than underused.

Thanks very much. doesn't really annoy mods as sometimes we do ignore reports for various reasons (usually we don't think the offense actually happened), and as far as i know, at least the banlings can't tell how many reports you submitted easily (however, we can tell if we really want to know). go read jwd

Chill, do you think they should add lurkers to zerg in starcraft 2 and why or why not?
Thanks! GL hosting TSL 3 ^^ Been a big fan since I joined the community <3 No. I don't see what role it would fill in any matchup. If there's a hole to be filled in the Zerg army composition then I don't see why we need a BW unit to fill it. But I'm not a game designer.
To continue on this question, is there any BW unit you (or any staff member) would be happier if it didn't make it into SC2 ?
Personally I feel like zerg could've made it without the Ultralisks because it feels like Blizzard is trying too hard to make them useful.

Zerg most definitely needs a late game tech choice alongside greater spire, a bulky melee unit seems pretty much perfect to me. I guess the other option would be to make infestors slightly costier but more effective later on in the game.
I miss arbiters, mothership recall just has nothing on the original one.

how long beforehand did TL staff know about TSL3? Because I remember Zatic was talking about it in interview with TaKe like month before the official announcement.

Who handles the t-shirt/store for Team Liquid? I was wondering if it was possible to set up a Team Liquid charity t-shirt, basically a modded version of the current TL shirt, and donate proceeds to Japan? Of course, this idea can extend to future disasters as well. I think there would be a lot of users who would be interested in something like this, but that may just be hopeful thinking on my part.
Of course, Team Liquid would decide what % of the proceeds should be donated and can choose who exactly to donate it to.
Just a thought.

I have a question for any of the staff who feel like answering:
On an individual basis, what's the best way to support the site/community? I know there's a struggle with quality control at the moment with the influx of the new players coming in for SCII, so what can the average member do to make sure his/her posts are of a productive nature? What kinds of posts are most helpful/productive, and which are least? I try my best to be productive/hype up community members, but I catch myself making a bad post from time to time or getting caught up in an argument, so I'm hoping this will help me and other members
Thanks guys ^^ TL fighting!
PS - What do you think of Liquid's chance in the TSL? Looking at the bracket, I think it looks like there's A decent shot at getting 4 liquid players into the Ro8, though TLO and HayprO's bracket is pretty tough with NaDa in there, I think Tyler could take out Fruitdealer if he's having a good day, and Ret's REALLY good in zvz, so he stands a fighting chance vs Zergbong IMO. So hyped up for TSL3 ^^

IDK about ret being able to beat zergbong. Ret is good, no doubt. But his ZvZ i would say is not his best matchup. He has trouble on when to quit making drones (judging by his GSL games) and he either has too many drones and not enough units to defeat a timing push, or he has too few drones and in a very difficult spot late game. I think if ret is playing his super A game, and ZergBong doesn't take it seriously because he's playing against a foreigner, then ret has a fighting chance.
And about how to support the site/community is to try to make sure all of your posts are not mindless jabber. To really become a part of the community as opposed to just posting on the site, try to make it to any events near you (TL meetups/LANs/WCG/MLG etc...) and get to know the community on a personal level. That and you'll get a lot more respect from a lot of the other members if you think before you type.
A ton of these new SC2 kids somehow migrated from 4chan apparently and constantly post image macros and one word sayings which isn't a safe way to stay a part of the community.
Oh, and of course, don't lie like Zia, don't cheat like Dino, don't threaten like hovz, don't steal like semih, and don't be stupid. Just act mature when you can. After all, eSports is still in its infancy and every member of the scene needs to act mature or people won't take us seriously.
There's times to goof around, and have fun. But don't do anything that would make you seem immature and you'll be recognized for being awesome in no time.

What's TL's policy on linking back to other sites?
For example: I just posted a writeup analyzing Losira's play in the Code A finals on another site.
If I throw up a paragraph here on TL, and then link back to the first site, will TL mods frown on me?

If I throw up a paragraph here on TL, and then link back to the first site, will TL mods frown on me? Generally, it's fine as long as it's clear you're not trying to solicit anything, and that your only purpose is to direct others to your writeup.

How many mod notes do i have on this name?(saw it earlier and he got a direct answer so i figure i might aswell ask)

Let's not ask for personal things please. This is about TL! Anyway,
1.) Can you make the search function EXTREMELY large? Even if it's for just one day, I'd love to see a decrease in the amount of "halp zvp 2 gate" or "How to beat Protoss Deathball?????" threads.
2.) Which pro-gamer, in your opinion, has the best screen name right now?
3.) Peanut Butter: chunky or smooth?

I don't have a suggestion since having them come out of the templar archives would be too powerful.
