Just because you do something every day doesn't mean you have a dependency. As Energies recently added, he does fine without one, but would prefer to have an alcoholic beverage when relaxing. This is incredibly far away from alcoholism.

I guess I'm gonna throw an entry in here now. First reply in the thread is me predicting procrastination on my part, and procrastinate I did, but at the beginning of the month I deciding it was about time to get in better shape.

Age: 19 || Height: 6'1" or m/cm || Weight: 170lbs
Starting Date: 10/01/10 || Goal Date: End of 2010, although I still plan on keeping in shape once I reach that point.
Weight goals -- I'm pretty thin/lanky actually. My goal is to lose some of my belly fat in exchange for putting on more muscle, so I'm aiming to maintain 170, although I don't mind gaining weight as long as I've lost sufficient fat in relation.
Training goals -- I've got a list of exercises to do nightly before I head to bed, consisting of lifting some weights, push-ups, and sit-ups. Trying to get some running/jogging in when I can as well.
Nutrition goals -- I'm not too bad for junk food or anything, my nutrition is decent, but I'm trying to cut down on those extras treats I used to sneak in here and there. I don't have for money for them anyway haha.
Misc goals -- Not directly related, but I'm hoping improving my physique will assist me in my search for a lady

I wasn't talking about him in my post. And you are right in his case it is not a dependency of any nature.

There is a thin line between desire and a psychological dependency. What I said is very well fitting into the modern medical recognition and treatment methods of alcoholism.

I remember "signing" up when this thread was all fresh but i never did anything about it, no diet, no training, nothing. But today, after i've been browsing /fit/ for a about 2 years, mirin' Zyzz, and some trolling here and there, i finally joined a gym today, i finally did it. Just came back and it feels fucking amazing, slamming down $400 in cash for 1 year felt less good though, but i don't regret it for one second.

I'm excited as hell, can't wait to see how i feel in a year

Finally getting in some decent training again.... back on the path towards one arm chins... should come back pretty easily.

Lots more handstands work of course.

that reminds me of me when I first started to try gomad. I was looking at the scale multiple times a day haha.

i wish i had somewhere to do handstand work lol. i don't even feel like i can safely do it anywhere around here.

the only wall i have is on top of a cement floor outdoors and i have nothing for padding

indoors the ceiling in this house isn't high enough lol :/


jealous of 1 arm chin btw, still can't seem to get it though at some point i just stopped trying
i figure i'll try for that again once i have a gym so i can do weighted pulls/chins

There was some posting last night on /fit/ about how some guy was in diamond league and I started arguing about how anyone who played BW could get into diamond no problem; I was wondering if it was someone from TL, was it you? :p
