lol, my right arm... my posterior deltoids

now so sore.. that what i was complaining about before is nothing. lol.
definitely have to to take some days off.

i dunno why the F this happened though

If you're working out more than 3x a week sometimes it happens

but i do curls 6 days a week with abs and bench on the 7th day and i never get sore. am i just jacked?

AFL Grand Final last night.. had an influx of carbs and my first beer in 3 months, following by an additional 8 beers and 6 wild turkeys. I couldn't stop eating, I just kept stuffing doritos, crackers, cheese and meat into my face like I was never going to eat food again.

Within 2 hours I was so bloated I had to lay down.

Took some celery tablets this morning and drinking tons of water, going to flush it all out and make me new again!

Also, flying out to Auckland this afternoon, 12 hour stopover and then LA!

oh man i am getting weaker...had a small gym comp today. Made American Open though...
Was too weak to clean 110, and i never miss a clean

I went up to 85 which is decent since last week was the first time I hit 80 in 3 months.

Alright. I'm fucking perplexed. I exercise regularly, eat healthy, take fish oil, don't drink (often) or smoke or do any drugs, and my blood pressure pre-workout today was 176/75 as per one of those self-check machines. Should I be worried?

I'm in such a world of pain right now T_T
3 games at the big 10 tournament, went 1-2. 150 minutes of rugby really takes its toll on your body though. On the bright side I scored and murdered a kid. Might not be lifting this week; feels like i got hit by a bus lol.
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

So when a routine says 'do x reps in y sets,' do you do these sets back to back, or repeat the whole routine, from one exercise to another, y amount of times?

If I were to do 5 reps of bench press for 5 sets, it means I'd do the 5 sets back to back with some rest time thrown in. Once you start getting more advanced, you can do other stuff during the rest time, but in the beginning maybe it's best to keep it simple.

I'm no expert but it seems to me that you were going lightning fast. I'm not sure if that's how fast you normally go, but I've read and heard from a variety of people, 2 sec up, 4 sec down. Going too fast can definitely cause injury, and also it will short yourself the full workout you need for strength training.

after all those olympic lifting videos posted, i've been watching a bunch and i've been really motivated to take this on.

i actually want to start an olympic lifting program. it looks so fun. guess i gotta call up the gyms around me. i'll probably start on it after my trip to japan...

hmmm
my shoulder is REALLY bothering me... maybe i didnt just make my deltoid sore. maybe i messed my rotator cuff up? it doesnt seem to be getting better, though it's only been a couple days


the exact position it hurts in is if i have my arm bent to a 45 degree angle by my side, if i try to raise my arm while bent like that to the outside... it hurts pon the outside of my shoulder above my tricep

same thing (except maybe even more acute pain) if i try to raise but also move it backwards behind my back


i can also make the pain happen with my arm straight down to my side, rotating my palm so that it's facing back, then lifting my arm up and outward


why did this happen.......... i didn't do anything that should have caused this
could it have been caused by deep german hangs?

Terrible terrible headache I've been practicing my power cleans, I don't feel very comfortable while doing them. Hopefully it will change soon >_>
