that one rep, i lost control during the descent, chest caved forward, and i came back up using a lot of back =( i did 5/5/0 for 245# squats, that last set, i felt like i would lose control on the descent again so i didn't even bother. hopefully it fixes itself on sunday.

You seem to be a perfect example of 5x5 working, I'm curious to know how all your lifts relate to each other in terms of numbers.

I had a bad squat day about 2 months ago, and severely hurt my lower-right back. I'm still recovering.

If there's one movement you should be doing (low skill) if you could only choose one it would be either deadlifts or squats. Both are "functional" to the highest degree and use an insane amount musculature. Anyone who is any good in any sport that uses the legs will likely have great deadlift numbers and at the very least very good squat numbers Higher skill movements that work more are the clean and jerk / snatches (aka olympic weightlifitng)

You seem to be a perfect example of 5x5 working, I'm curious to know how all your lifts relate to each other in terms of numbers. Havent benched or pressed for real in probably 5 weeks now. I can rep pretty light around 135 as long as i keep my wrist locked. My bench was at around 275+ and i was doing 5x5 at ~240 last i recall. Most i've gotten out of shoulder press for 5x5 was 135-145 and 1x175. I havent done 5x5 for squats/deadlifts this summer though i've been following the chart i posted a while back to change things up.
